Exploring SEQ and trying out my new drone - an endeavor sadly cut short by a dying phone battery! Still it was a good excuse to get out of the city for a few hours and get a few clips with the DJI Mini 2.

The drone shots were all taken at 4K30 with auto settings and no filters (ND filters are on the way but some sections of the forest are dark enough that they wouldn't have been needed anyway).
Northbrook Gorge lies within D'Aguilar National Park (southern section), a bit over an hour's drive from Brisbane. Being a bit short on time today I didn't get to go all the way to the best swimming holes but hey, any day spent in nature is a pretty good day anyway!
3:45 - I'm wrong. *You can fly the Mini 2 without a mobile device.* Should have kept flying!

How good is the mini 2!? Glad to see I'm not the only one yet to master trying not to look like im flying a drone when I'm in drone footage :P
Haha yeah you got me there.
I was hoping to use Litchi with it (can do waypoints and active track on the mini 1) but DJI are dragging their feet on releasing the SDK on this one unfortunately.
