It was a quick fight and he caught me with a good punch and was able to finish the fight. Interpreter: it certainly was a fight, it just ended very quickly(fucker translates that bit well though). How much did the taunting and disrespect affect you in the fight? Aldo: (aldo must be thinking "what the fuck? Should i nut him") it didnt affect anything. He could of said anything. I never let myself be provoked. Im at peace within. I went in there to work. It was his day today he got me with a good punch but I think we just have to wait for the rematch. +royhatts1 yeah I know. my point is loads of people think aldo said "it wasn't a fight". he didn't say say that. the interpreter made aldo sound bad. aldo was actually very respectful and straight forward.
Congrats to McGregor on the victory, and kudos to him for not kicking Aldo when he's down and showing him some respect. Aldo shouldn't feel so bad about this loss, everyone in the MMA world loses if they are in the business long enough. A champion is one who can come back from a loss, I hope Aldo can do so. After his first loss he went on and started finishing all of the opponents he was facing, then we he got into the UFC he started playing it safe and getting decision wins. Maybe this loss will put a fire under Aldo and he'll be more motivated to go for a finish and not for a decision.
Excelente comentário, Aldo deve se fortalecer com essa derrota, ele só havia tido uma derrota na carreira e aprendeu com ela a se superar, agora com essa derrota deve erguer a cabeça e se fortalecer mais. He truly changed the sport of MMA, helped it grow into a global phenomenon, only one Notorious Conor McGregor 👏👏👏 Good memories 🫡
Say whatever you want about Conor, but you can't take away that he certainly has a Champ's attitude. Win or lose, he's got a good attitude. He didn't gloat and hold it over Jose when he won, he didn't pump out a million and 1 excuses when he lost to Diaz(unlike Diaz) the first time, and again he didn't rub Diaz's face in it when he won the rematch. Sure, he talks a lot of shit before and long after the fight, but this is a business and it's a way to sell and promote. Anyone with a functioning brain stem can tell that it's to put on a show and hype up a fight.
Allan Costa he didnt talk shit to nate cus nate kinda won both fights. the judges just gave it to conor for rounds 1,2 and 4. but in reality. nate stepped on the gas at the end of the 2nd and conor took alot of damage after that.
O113 K3101 Stopped at "Nate won both fights." No, he didn't. He lost the second, point blank. Conor was hardly in any real danger IE: rocked except for a couple of clinches in the third round. All the "pressure" that Nate put on Conor or, in your words, "stepped on the gas" amounted to Nate hugging Conor up against the cage, and occasionally throwing slaps(not even punches seeing as how at this point, his lead leg, which he's heavy on, was battered meat) that mainly hit arm and shoulder or just flat out missed due to Conor's head movement, something even Joe noted as exceptional in the clinches. And Nate nearly lost the first seeing as Conor was dominating the stand up game, till Conor gassed due to his stamina being piss poor thinking he can jump two weight classes on short notice and be fine. To think that Nate won the second is just willing ignorance regarding the sport of MMA. Conor took no notable damage as evidenced by his face being totally fine post-fight, he was never rocked, never taken to the ground except the last 10 seconds of the last round. Yeah, "a lot" of damage alright. The most "damage" he took was when Nate finally checked one of the 20 something kicks that Conor was throwing to his leg.
The fact that Jose stuck around in the cage for an interview was admirable. He was heartbroken but had the balls to keep himself together and give his respect to Conor. The translation wasn't very good, he was more respectful than the guy made him sound.
IMO, this interview with Aldo is the worst interview Joe ever did inside the octagon. I really don't understand how Aldo managed to stay so calm & collected.
He gave McGregor props and said that he "felt he didn't have enough time to show what he trained to do and that he'd like to run it back" much different from "it wasn't really a fight"
Yeah but Joe's response was HILARIOUS hahaha, "it certainly was a fight, it was just a fight that happened and ended VERY quickly" 🤣🤣🤣👍 Haha thanks Joe, didn't notice . . . 🤣🤣🤣🤷♂️👍

@Thatthar899 What are you debunking lol? You said Conor would come back better than ever. I disagreed and then you conceded that he wouldn’t win against a contender. Didnt you just immediately abandon your original position? Or is there a way that coming back and losing to every contender is better than being double champ? Aldo: (aldo must be thinking "what the fuck? Should i nut him") it didnt affect anything. He could of said anything. I never let myself be provoked. Im at peace within. I went in there to work. It was his day today he got me with a good punch but I think we just have to wait for the rematch. Next time I'll come much more prepared and I'll take back what is mine.
Joe: thanks been a pleasure.
Aldo: I just want to say thank you to everyone. This is part of the game. I lost today but I'll be back even stronger and get my belt back.
+angelo Exactly. Aldo owned up and said he was beat with a good shot.

Maybe this loss will put a fire under Aldo and he'll be more motivated to go for a finish and not for a decision.
lol he tried to finish conor right away and see what happened
He broke his nose trying to hammer him..
+Misbahuddin Hunafa
Yea, I think he will definitely come back stronger.
+Misbahuddin Hunafa thats exactly what he shouldn't do, he got emotionally attached in this fight and went for a hard hook on connor to knock him out and finish him and it didnt end good. if he stuck to the game plan and kicked him and took him down he woulda won.
Connor's rise to the top is a like movie . It's so crazy man single handedly changed the sport forever

he will go down as one of the greatest fighters of all time, it’s a shame to see people hop on the bandwagon of hating him
He WAS a great fighter, but his prime past already he's not as hungry. People don't just hate him just because, he's done some dumb shit and said some dumb shit, he made it easy to hate him. He's washed up. The ufc will get what they can from him and thats it.
@@defkid310bqad7 false, he still is one of the greatest and helped the ufc get to where it is today, just like khabib, gsp, jones, etc. their all amazing fighters who deserve respect for the accomplishments they made

I hold Jose Aldo as highly as I ever did. Will always stay that way... A loss is bound to happen to anyone at any point in a sport like this... He was a champion for so long and that takes a serious amount of defensive game. Conor, man this guy is awesome... No question... I love them both so much and much respect... I may never judge a fighter by just one loss...
Khabib

A loss is bound to happened sometimes unlike mayweather the runner😂

Man that KO of Jose Aldo by Conor McGregor was crazy!! 13 seconds! I was expecting a 25 minute war, I remember screaming out loud! What a moment!!! 😊 Conor McGregor the icon! The excitement he creates for his fights is next level, from the press conference to the event, his star power and charisma is unmatched, a true global superstar.

He gave McGregor props and said that he "felt he didn't have enough time to show what he trained to do and that he'd like to run it back" much different from "it wasn't really a fight"
