I tried knitting a human size cardigan with the knitting method that I always use for doll knits.
I knitted the front body and back body together, closed the shoulders, knitted the placket and sleeves with the stitches, and finally picked the stitches and attached the pockets.
If you start knitting now, you can definitely use it in the fall.
It may be better to try knitting with summer yarn.
