In regards to Max leaving the Grinch, I'm guessing later on he felt sorry for the Grinch being up on the mountain by himself and went back to him out of pity.
Honestly, I rewatched it for the first time in years… and I couldn’t make it past the first few minutes, because Max has a song about how sad he is to be living with the Grinch, and how he remembers being a puppy and thinking about how his mother would be so disappointed in him if she knew who his owner was ☹️😢 Like… no - no, no sad puppies! That’s not what I want from my fun Halloween spook-fest.
Kudos to adding The Scooby Doo Project on this list. I remember watching this specific special as a kid, well to be more precise through the bumpers but I still got a kick out of it. I found the entire thing on UA-cam and the one that still sends a chill down my spine is the one with the Stick Dog which shows up while the characters are calling for Scooby and they're unable to find him. Chilling.
I do remember the Scooby Doo Project bumpers on Cartoon Network--I especially remember one with Scrappy scaring the crud out of the Gang. I also remember seeing a commercial on Cartoon Network for Night of the Living Doo, and assumed it was some kind of "New Scooby Doo Movie" esque episode. I was half right, not realizing it was actually a stand alone special and parody.
I was thinking "Why are you explaining Twilight Zone Tower of Terror? Don't we all know what it is?" then I realized not everyone is a theme park geek, so carry on.
I always look forward to your content, especially around Halloween time. Thanks for the effort you always put in, it doesn’t go unnoticed. I’ve been watching your videos since the very beginning. Hard to believe it’s been ten years since you did Claymation Comedy of Horrors, which I rewatched more times than I’m willing to admit. Also: you involuntarily gave me a Slumdog Millionaire flashback when you mentioned Strega Noga.
Planning any more Familiar Faces, beyond the specials?. Used to watch them a lot and I like hearing your thoughts on obscure media and minor or one off characters.
This has been a terrible week for me so to see a new Halloween special from you has really brighten up my wary soul. Honestly, thank you so much for this and please keep up you wonder work!
I remember seeing The Devil And Daniel Mouse in your original video and I've watched that every six months or so since. So, time to find out what new thing I'm going to be binging for years to come.
I still watch Tower of Tower at least once every halloween. My niece is so obsessed with it she watches it almost constantly on DVD. I'm kind of pissed it's not on Disney +.
Thank you for a new special. I saw some of these specials growing up. I miss when Cartoon Network showcased specials for the holidays. Now they show the same specials over and over again or just have a Teen Titans Go marathon. I am thankful to those who videotaped the specials. I, like many, just assumed they would be on VHS later on. Little did I know. Lastly, nice title card. I love the theming just wishing the Professor and Dave swapped too but that wouldn't fit. Miss Miller's fashions wouldn't suit Professor Utonium....hmmm. Oh well, hope the rest of the year is good to you or gets better.
6:20: well, the scientist who created the creature was named Victor Frankenstein, so the creature has only had a last name without a 1st one all this time, and Frank Frankenstein would just be stupid, from now on I'm going to call him Steve, because he just kind of looks like a Steve to me.
@@nessesaryschoolthing Well doesn't he become Adam in the book? Also, I've heard Frankenstein refers to Dr Frankenstein because he is the true monster of the story.
A ketchup vampire huh? Sounds like Count Duckula (voice by David Jason), which was an interesting series. Didn't know there's a whole movement of vegetarian vampires in movies though; makes me wonder if there are vegan Werewolves now :)
Fun fact count duckula was a spinoff of danger-mouse (also voiced by david jason) count duckula appeared as a villain in DM first then got his own show
Good to see good ol'Chad is still at it, it's like finding that old brand of candy you loved as a kid but haven't had in years and it still tastes good.
Don't forget forget Ian James Corlett as the mummy lawyer & Jim Byrnes as the grim reaper prosecutor. Y'know what's weird? Corlett is listed as Drac's VA but I swear he's played by Alan Young (OG Scrooge McDuck). Also the vampire dentist on the witness stand sounds alot like Dwight Schutlz (Barclay from TNG).
I remember seeing Monster Mash once on YTV when I was really young. I never saw it since, never remembered the name and wasn't sure if it even existed.
Thank you for bringing us this magnificently blessed content without you and accidentally running into you because of your previous Powerpuff video and I guess the thumbnail for this one I would never have learned about the cheesy charm that is Katsup Vampires.
6:44 Oh hi Scott McNeil! I guess I shouldn't be surprised that he's in this, considering that he's been in other kid-friendly horror like Scary Godmother, Darkstalkers, and that storyline in Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation involving vampires.
I actually remember seeing "The Witch Who Turned Pink" when it first came out. Of course, as a kid, I didn't know about the low quality at the time. I still remember what happened to the Pumpkin Gang, though. And as for your artwork, I love the homage to E.D. Thewett's fan-art of the Powerpuff Girls dressed as the Chipettes.
Ketchup vampires! Man, it's been forever... I used to watch that on TV before school on weekdays when I was a kid. However, it must have been a direct translation from the German version here in Sweden. I remember it not being as dumb as its premise and name would suggest. Thanks for this much appreciated present CR. Happy Halloween!
Also the Ronald Mcdonald films did come from mcdonalds but they didn't come with a happy meal; you could ask to buy one and they were pretty cheap. They also sold some on the klassy csupo site (or at least whoever did the video licensing) to get some, all but the last one (the loch ness one) were sold by mcdonalds. The last one was a really hard to find video until fans found out it had a limited sale from said site. However all of the movies (including the rare last one) are on youtube now.
I really enjoy your videos, especially ones like this recounting strange holiday specials. Learning about specials I hadn't heard of and seeing ones that jog my memory is always a treat. I remember watching Tower of Terror every year when it aired on Disney Channel. The Scooby Doo Blair Witch Project was pretty creepy and unsettling from what I remember too.
The Dracula commercial kind of makes since. In some versions of the vampire myth, they had to count. In times when people were paranoid about vampires, they planted flowers that would multiply and spread in graveyards.
Funny you should bring up your Halloween McDonalds toy collection, I just rewatched that video the other day. I've always loved your Halloween content.
I really enjoy Canterville Ghosts animation style, love to see a kids show go back to that style just to tell short stories. King of like Jim Henson storyteller
I literally grew up with Lil Creepers. I've been searching for what it was called for YEARS and now you finally helped me find it!!! Thank you!! Thought I dreamed this shit.
The night of the living doo was something i saw online back in 10th grade or so and it was strange. Many of these had nice artstyles so i give those ones a plus. I think the robbers would've looked more mysterious if they didnt remove their masks.
I remember those Mcdonald's videos, they were kinda like those burger king video games, they were little cheap videos you could buy on top of your meal. I remember begging my mom for a few, but I thought there were only like 3 of them.
It's been too long since you had a forgotten holiday specials countdown, glad to have you back. Anyway, out of the specials featured, the only ones I remember seeing were the Scooby-Doo bumpers and The Witch who Turned Pink. Also, Italian animation shouldn't be judged by those animated Titanic movies, from what little Italian animation I've seen it's not that bad.
"I'm running away Mrs jones"
'GOOD"
damn she a savage
best joke I've heard in a while XD
"I'm running away, Mrs. Jones."
"Good!"
Legit best part
I want to genuinely thank you for reminding me of The Three Robbers. You helped unearth a long forgotten memory from my childhood.
In regards to Max leaving the Grinch, I'm guessing later on he felt sorry for the Grinch being up on the mountain by himself and went back to him out of pity.
MAYBE he got a new dog and named it Max cuz he missed his first dog?
Honestly, I rewatched it for the first time in years… and I couldn’t make it past the first few minutes, because Max has a song about how sad he is to be living with the Grinch, and how he remembers being a puppy and thinking about how his mother would be so disappointed in him if she knew who his owner was ☹️😢

YES! Something I can watch 20 times like everything else on this channel.

"If I wanted monsters to preach at me, I wouldn't skip those PragerU ads."

That clip of Bob literally clutching at straws is just inspired.

Oh wow... Didn't expect this! You just made my Halloween, my dude!
17:50, that is some good tampon humor.
1:28 come on who doesn't have a crush on Patrick Stewart?
I can’t tell you how excited I get for these every single year!
I was thinking "Why are you explaining Twilight Zone Tower of Terror? Don't we all know what it is?" then I realized not everyone is a theme park geek, so carry on.
I have a tradition of watching your Halloween videos around this time; super great to have another one to add to the list!
Gosh darnit stop hyping Trick or Treaters up for me!
IT LOOKS SO CUTE
Powerpuffs as the chippers are adorable 🥰
Oh snap you mentioned Ketchup Vampires and the Ronald McDonald spook special! Kept having the feeling that no one else saw those shows besides me. XD
Love the ppg and the chipmunks crossover piece lol

When I heard of Ketchup Vampires, I kept thinking of Count Duckula.
20:58 The Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald it's a good show and it has lots of great songs and and lots of hilarious and funny and musical numbers
FINALLY. The gods have rewarded my loyalty and patience
a new list after all these years! Thanks and Happy Halloween!
I love that there are 13 of these and your still pulling stuff i've never heard of.
Finally, I haven't seen another top 13 Halloween specials since 2017 !
This has been a terrible week for me so to see a new Halloween special from you has really brighten up my wary soul. Honestly, thank you so much for this and please keep up you wonder work!
I appreciate this video. Especially for the PragerU joke. Got so fed up with their ads I went and found an app that blocks anything related to them.
Don't remember getting ads I just put UA-cam poops of them
An app that blocks ideas you disagree with...an idea whose time has come, I guess.
I remember seeing The Devil And Daniel Mouse in your original video and I've watched that every six months or so since. So, time to find out what new thing I'm going to be binging for years to come.

last halloween i missed you and just rewatched the older halloween videos. it isn't halloween without you, chad!
6:20: well, the scientist who created the creature was named Victor Frankenstein, so the creature has only had a last name without a 1st one all this time, and Frank Frankenstein would just be stupid, from now on I'm going to call him Steve, because he just kind of looks like a Steve to me.
I know some people call him "Adam" for the biblical reference. "I ought to be thy Adam, but I am rather the fallen angel"
On Toonsylvania he was called Phil.
I'll call him Steve so he could adapt to sociality easier.
Nice little adding by CR I will say, to be technical on both sides
@@nessesaryschoolthing Well doesn't he become Adam in the book? Also, I've heard Frankenstein refers to Dr Frankenstein because he is the true monster of the story.
I wish Hey Vern, It's Scary Things was on this list. I loved the Ernest TV seris.
Always great to see another one of your videos! These kinds of list videos always have me looking for the cartoons. Like Christmas in Tattertown!
welcome back. honestly I wish more internet reviewers would take a stab at Monster Mash, among various others I forgot about here.
A ketchup vampire huh? Sounds like Count Duckula (voice by David Jason), which was an interesting series. Didn't know there's a whole movement of vegetarian vampires in movies though; makes me wonder if there are vegan Werewolves now :)

I watched Scared Silly a bunch on VHS as a kid! A truly weird and surprisingly memorable special. Great job on this whole video!!!
Good to see good ol'Chad is still at it, it's like finding that old brand of candy you loved as a kid but haven't had in years and it still tastes good.
6:40 Well I'm adding this to the random Scott McNeil count.
Don't forget forget Ian James Corlett as the mummy lawyer & Jim Byrnes as the grim reaper prosecutor. Y'know what's weird? @@alexlemonds2838 You mean Mung Daal?
Don Patch!
I remember seeing Monster Mash once on YTV when I was really young. I never saw it since, never remembered the name and wasn't sure if it even existed.
To think that before today, I was completely unaware that there was a Scooby Doo and Blair Witch crossover...
I’ve been catching your content for years now and your videos are always the best to relax with or work to. Keep being awesome!
This was exactly what I needed to see right now, heh, wish it never had to end.
Thank you for bringing us this magnificently blessed content without you and accidentally running into you because of your previous Powerpuff video and I guess the thumbnail for this one I would never have learned about the cheesy charm that is Katsup Vampires.
So someone else noticed Elvira hasn't aged a day in 40 years...
were all of Sauron's rings accounted for?
I mean he was known for sleeping round
I have that McDonald's tape. "Ten Seconds" is the best line and lives in my head rent free.
6:44 Oh hi Scott McNeil! I guess I shouldn't be surprised that he's in this, considering that he's been in other kid-friendly horror like Scary Godmother, Darkstalkers, and that storyline in Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation involving vampires.
It’s back, this is the best day of my week
I actually remember seeing "The Witch Who Turned Pink" when it first came out. Of course, as a kid, I didn't know about the low quality at the time. I still remember what happened to the Pumpkin Gang, though.

I remember watching the Trick or treaters years ago and really liking it! Nice to see that more people know about it!
Yeeeeeees, its always a joy seeing you doing another ff
Holy heck Ketchup vampires. I rented that back in the VHS era, it’s one of those things I thought I had hallucinated
This brings me an ungodly amount of happiness
Ketchup vampires! Man, it's been forever... I used to watch that on TV before school on weekdays when I was a kid. However, it must have been a direct translation from the German version here in Sweden. I remember it not being as dumb as its premise and name would suggest.

This channel's Halloween uploads are always the best!
The Dracula commercial kind of makes since. In some versions of the vampire myth, they had to count. In times when people were paranoid about vampires, they planted flowers that would multiply and spread in graveyards.
This series is probably my favorite of all your work.
Yesss! I watch these videos every year now. So great to have a new one! Thank you!

I’d rather have Elvira talk through the entire movie about vegan vampires.
i dont know if anyone else remembers this but the Three Robbers I recall being on Children's Caravan. Thats a nostalgic trip.
