Great episode!!! The pets need more health or hit harder, I only used the grasshopper early to get around till I got the wing suit. Then he just stays home wile I go out to explore / grind resources. I plan on posting on thee Steam discussions about these issues with the pets and the new armor not having any wings or durability. The more people that let them know it is an issue the better.
The pets just need... something. The fliers would be fine for travel if they would stay where you tell them (so you could keep them safe), the non-fliers should be more combat oriented I feel. While it would obsolete the ladybug, even just giving them a small carrying capacity would go a long way to giving them more purpose. I'm not asking for ARK levels of breeding/taming to get monster bugs, but given we can only have one (and they're not overly cheap) they are underwhelming. The only times I've found myself wishing I had one is when I want to fly over a dangerous spot, and then as soon as I get off it charges in and dies anyway :p
@@freynlives Agreed! They are working on adding a stable where you can keep more than one. That being said if they don't add something like you stated, it will not be worth having any. I do know they asked for suggestions on what pet controls should do. Lets hope they add some of the things we need out of them. Being Early Access there is time to balance these things, if they will.
It wasn't a good creature for it to fight, being resistant to pierce... but I didn't really want it to fight at all. The flight is definitely a help, but I've not been finding the tames the most useful sadly no :/
I've not really gone too far into the building, my confidence has been dashed by many of your hurtful comments over the years :'( There is a nice selection of shapes though, I need to spruce up my base a little!
Outside the tower on the ground as well. Found them today. Did a nice unexpected discovery in the tunnel. But that is as you don't haven't found Melkar.
The most ridiculous part of the game and the reason i deleted it. Too many enemies and the colony spiders constantly respawn, barely ever dropping an abdomen when you kill them.
I got enough to drop from the colony in the sewers under the black hornet to make 3 treats. Haven't gone back since me and the spider made friends. I'll double check to see if they drop again tonight.

Another tame, another memory. Hopefully the devs will buff tames somehow so they're better than meat shields

Hi John, I can't recall if it's default but mine is set to H - it's the very last option at the bottom of the key mapping (Options->Input)

I am tryjng to get Colony spider abdomens and cant ! They wont drop them and cant find any info about this ! Fuk this cheap game
