Luckily they have sliders now for difficulty. They are active on the game, they are also very good at taking player suggestions as well. I see this game growing as it develops.
Looks like a lot of fun that would benefit with some modding. Maybe some more quests. Random quests could be added or modded in. Possibly some crafting and trading system.
This game is absolutely awesome. Very very short though, but its early access. Wish they would have procedurally generated maps as well rather than static.
"Honey, I shrunk the vikings!" 🤣 Kinda cracks me up when you say the game has bugs.....like: well, duh! hehehe. JK. Very nice review, clear, to the point, not too long. And enough to let me make a decission to buy or not. Thanks!
The models and textures are beautiful but I feel the animations look very awkward with too few frames and unreal movements. This can be seen in nearly all insect movement and when the characters use tools. Perhaps this will be addressed in the future but it is a deal breaker for me at the moment.
In my experience, games in this genre are severly hampered without procedurally generated maps. Green Hell is great until you realize the lagoon is in the same place every single time.
I can't, in good conscience, give a thumbs up to you when you aren't smart enough to simply look at the controls to figure out a basic function of dodging and didn't figure it out till the last boss. That was hilarious. Also, it's not a cricket lol. There is literally a "grasshopper treat" in the game to tame this cricket you speak of. Lol😂

Kinda feels like Dark souls, valheim, and grounded mashed into one game might be buying it soon lol
I honestly was shocked when I saw only 21k subscribers. Great review. Subbed!

Procedurally generated maps will never happen, I can assure you of that
Game is really good with a lot of potential, will become amazing if the developers continue improving it.
oh im getting this today. this one flew right under the radar

Now maybe. In the long run I am confident this will absolutely be worth it

looks like the early 2000's when they would wash game graphics with mud
Do you have 3 days to wait for a Steam game download? If so, looks like a one month game until it is finished.
Great review as always!
