Incredibly creative method for mass rooting a number of cuttings fast! Temperature is one of the biggest factors when rooting a cutting. Having the water temps around 86-90 degrees, expedites root growth dramatically! I use a seedling heating mat for smaller loads of cuttings in cups, when the temps are colder during the winter. Your method is incredibly efficient at doing them en' mass. Thanks for the fantastic video! 😁👍

Yes, heat is key. I’m turning one up to 95 degrees to see if 5 degrees more helps. Thanks for watching

Cool! 😎 Good luck and best advice I can offer is to credit your sources and be honest in your content… Also, thick skin helps with the rude comments that will occur in time

The sock method you recommended a couple weeks ago, was a game changer. Now my heating pad is set to 108, but my water temp is around 87. I have way higher temps and lots of roots. Thanks!

Hi Paul! Amazon & EBay have peat moss starters for plants..this is the most fastest method growing roots

Sunshine Mix #4 has perlite and mycorrhizal fungi to help with rooting, but I’m sure those would work too

Great Setup Paul !! But I wonder what is the composition of the sunshine mix no. 4?

It’s at most big box stores. It contains peat moss, perlite, and mycorrhizal fungi.

would a normal heat mat for germinating seedlings be just as effective with less effort?

I've used a heating mat just putting jars of water on top of it.
Works but I'm usually not in that big of a rush to root cuttings anymore.

This is faster and supports large cuttings better in my experience. This is just another option

    Congratulations
I want ask , my cuttings are shorter so they are full size inside the box .
The humidity is very high amd the cuttings are wet all the time .
Is it safe ? Or i will have fungus on the cuttings?

Keep an eye one them. We got a few with mold and all I did was spray some hydrogen peroxide on the mold and it went away within a day. If it becomes a problem, try using a little aquarium air stone to increase airflow.

that will work too, there are many ways to root them in the off season (winter). Thanks for sharing
