The clicker in Dying Light is actually one of the more well-known easter eggs because it drops the best weapon mod in the game, so a lot of people farm him

I will have to say Anima from the Evil Within 2 is way more terrifying. One minute ur following a radio signal into a house. The next ur trapped in another dimension with this ghost that sings & says ur character's name as it stalks u. Not to mention that until u finish her questline she can & will randomly pop onto the map. Only by willing tracking down her hot spots & going into her dimension can u finally put this nightmare fuel's soul to rest
15:27- This is also done in Remnants From The Ashes. After finding a key within the city to a door with a monkey on it, you find a licked room where a note very similar is found and both children die of starvation. It didn't just feel grim, it was sad too.
My favorite Easter egg is from Hitman Contracts. You can actually “kill” the ghost in the hotel if you’re fast enough to catch up to him in the hallway. You can strangle him and drag around his ghost body. Guards will shoot you if they see you dragging the ghost

9:50 great tip for Fable 2 if you have 2 controllers sign in as a guest on the second and it will copy the first characters lvl and skill/spells. You can send the second character as a kamikaze attacker quickly use up all its magic and health while character 1 fets the experience, log out of the guest and log back in. Rinse and repeat

@45:05 You can find one of the better Easter eggs in RDR2 at the Aberdeen Pig Farm. If you kill the brother (he can't be tied up) and tie up the sister, then drag her out to the body pit, which happens to be where they dumped the bodies of their parents, she will realize where you are taking her as you draw close and have a pretty emotional reaction.
Yup, and if you drop her into the ditch, she starts sobbing and crying out to her mom that she's sorry.
I love seeing Black Flag pop up on these lists. What a treasure of a game. I hope we get a remake/sequel (that isn't Skull and Bones). Hard to believe but I've seen 1 list out of dozens that rank the AC series, that placed Black Flag at #7... WHAT!? Lol sorry, I agree with the many other lists that have it in top 3. It's my personal favorite AC by far
Dying Light was so brilliant and had some excellent Easter eggs. A crying (or dying) shame that DL2 was nowhere near as good as the first (what was Techland thinking? The things that made DL so amazing, were completely removed in the sequel, I feel as though they don't know their audience)
Black Flag is without a doubt one of the best games ever released. Love, love, LOVE that game! Still beats anything else in either the AC/FarCry franchises.. . although FarCry3 comes pretty damn close! Ubisoft nailed this one!❤
@@hollieBlu303 100% Far Cry 3/Blood Dragon expansion, Black Flag and SC: ChaosTheory, the 3 best Ubisoft games of all time. FC4 was solid, so was AC2. But to this day, Chaos Theory, Black Flag, Far Cry 3, best things the Ubisoft studios have put out. Props to Beyond Good and Evil, XIII (the original) and Valiant Hearts though
For the Red Dead Redemption II entry about the family dying from carbon monoxide, I see that this poisioning was identified around 1894. I see RDR 2 is set is 1899, which means the death of the family was possibly preventable if they could've been informed about it. But even today, we still have people who die in modern countries from it, so...perhaps not.
what is going on with youtube today, it's hard to enjoy videos when there's non stop ads every 3-5 minutes and the ads are much louder than the video which surprises me when it's suddenly loud sometimes.

That RDR2 “zombie” fish is interesting because I’ve seen fish like that. Salmon start to rot after they spawn and you’ve seen some with exposed bones. Those Peco fish have survived without heads for awhile. They get desiccated and dried out and look dead until they get water on them.
Ocarina of time did the hand fear as well. Those things creeped me out as a kid

Creepers are very misunderstood creatures. They spend their entire existence having everything run away from them. So when something actually shows them any level of kindness they literally EXPLODE with happiness.
3:45 - Simply play the theme, and people will know. These things are terrifying the first time you meet em.
All I can say is... do more of these videos. Easter eggs and secrets are awesome.

At 13:33 -ish you mention that Mr.X never despawns but technically that's incorrect, at several points in re2 remake he is scripted to appear at certain locations and thus instantaneously despawns from wherever he was to, in the same instant, reappear wherever the game script needs hom to be, a good way to verify this is simple in the police station, when going after the jack handle for the library shelf, I had personally made sure that X was on the complete other side of the station , wasnt even hearing him, picked up the jack handle then boom he just appears at the door forcing me back into the room to loop him around the archive shelves, and this alos happens to claire when she reunites with sherry in the orphanage basement, X just randomly teleports to the area you just came from and chases you
To clarify I had visually seen Mr.X enter the crashes helicopter corridor from the main hall and listened as his clomping footsteps got dimmer then I ran to the archive room, picked up the handle and boom he's right outside

I enjoyed this video but I wanted to say that I feel like many of these things were not "secrets" and labeling the video as such was a bit misleading. Much of these "secrets" are just things you would come across in a normal playthrough of the game. It makes me feel like the title was a little click-bait-y. Maybe something to be a bit more mindful about in the future?

Creepers are the main thing that keeps me from playing Minecraft.... Well them and a bit of the setting and graphics are a bit of it...
Like I'm playing space engineers instead and it's more of what I'm into... But when I'm not playing space engineers I've kinda tried to get into Minecraft... But I'm not really inspired to build anything in creative... And I haven't found a survival mode difficulty option for the game that made onboarding the game an enjoyable enough experience to keep going....
The red block machines would probably be the main thing I'd be into... But getting there hasn't really ever happened....

for subnautica i would have gone with the ghost leviathans, like the reapers but bigger, more aggresive and less likely to encounter, i think you only find them at the edges of the map at the deepest regions in the black of the ocean, just the location you find them is super unnerving
You can find them in lost lake as well but they're babies
Stalker Guardians are not secrets in Breath of the Wild Jules! They are enemies! And plus, Stalker Guardians are not found everywhere in the game! There are some regions that don’t have Stalker Guardians like the Gerudo Region, the Hebra Region, the Faron Region or the Lost Woods.
A vast majority of them aren't. References, locations, rare occurrences, etc. are not automatically secrets. Mistitled video for sure. But these are the people who don't understand the difference between basic references and easter eggs either, so..
@@ledumpsterfire6474 Here’s the thing and this is my opinion, but all of What Culture Gaming are not that smart about video games, especially Jess, Jules Gill and Psy White who I call the Wrong Information Trio because they are the ones who get information about video games wrong the most. Like Jess getting all of the lore of Kirby and the Forgotten Land wrong or even saying that Zelda fans got confused about the Zelda franchises 3 timelines because of Hyrule Historia when Hyrule Historia actually HELPED Zelda fans better understand the Zelda franchises 3 timelines or even Jules saying that Pokemon Legends Arceus is a spin-off game when it is a canon mainline game because Legends Arceus is referenced THREE times in Scarlet and Violet, twice in the base game and once in the Teal Mask DLC and canon mainline Pokemon games introduce new moves and new Pokemon which spin-off Pokemon games don’t do, and Psy White, who apparently is a Resident Evil expert, said that Osmund Saddler not releasing Ashley Graham when she just got infected with Las Plagas is a plot hole which it is not a plot hole and is something he would know if he actually PLAYED Resident Evil 4.

LOL Wolf Spiders, how weak. Daddy Long Legs are nastier, the only reason we call them harmless is because their fangs can't pierce our skin.... which is probably very different for humans shrunken to the size of ants. However they apparently have one of the deadliest poisons in the world.

2:38 - Grounded // Hugely underrated and one of the best games i have played in my 40+ years of gaming (...and I'm still playing it).. just wish i had friends to co-op play it with (via Steam) too... and any of spiders are creepier and deadlier than any zombie I have encountered (in games too... 😜), but [spoiler alert], many hours later in Grounded and you will eventually have to deal with mutated insects... namely mutant spiders... which are something i truly fear (...in-game too 😜) 🕷

I'll tell you right now, they would need to replace the whole cast/writing crew to have enough creative brain cells to pull that off. I think they're probably at mental capacity even with relying on FO and RS wiki entries and stock footage to talk about in-game events they've never seen.

these aren't secrets, these are just enemies. nothing is secret about the wolf spider in grounded, they're everywhere same with creepers in minecraft, lol. i refreshed the page like twice to make sure the title wasn't bugged

Ah man, elden rings spider hands. I remember the first time i saw these multi-fingered things and they scared the sh!+ out of me. Than to see the giant ones farther on are even worse.
Meh, the Stalker Guardians from BOTW are far from scary. They're easy targets that I actively hunt down every time the blood moon happens and the mobs reset. Horse + Ancient Arrow = consistent 1-hit kills.
Or grab a decent shield parry+flame jump you can obliterate their health bar before you hit ground without using ancient arrows or the other fun one durable 2 hand weapon with either a shield or a bow stun spin attack the outside to cut off it's legs it is no longer a real threat just get in it's face and slap it around like it deserves
@@austingirdley8937 Completely agree, but the arrows just make the process a whole lot smoother and I don't need to waste time fighting them just to grab their resources every time.

Fair I see your point I just never use ancients due to cost by resource or money as I kill them for those things exclusively so I take the extra 10 or so seconds but we all have our own reasons and methods just down to preference from zelda player to zelda player good to talk to another person of taste without this idea of being better or otherwise conflicting as too many have become much love have a great day
