I find the volume low. For both the sounds I import as well as the pre-installed ones. Is there anyway to increase the volume (I have tried -The volume button as well as senstivity and threshold)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
@@MarksTechVlogs same issue all the time... I do find using "headphone out" better... but I had to set it aside for some shows cause it just wasn't coming through loud enough. I am thinking now there is an issue with the device. It seems that with some of the other SpD devices you can adjust the volume through system settings... but I can't see how to do that with the kick.
Hi, is it possible to connect a microphone into this and add a eco effect to it ( say a didgeridoo sound) while using it as a drum? Im looking for a device able to do that, to distort my didgeridoo sound and that is able to make a beat too.
I had it plugged into a small-ish PA system rather than an amp. I’ve used it to gig with in a few different venues and tend to find it has a pretty consistent sound
Hey dumb question. I am Buying the SPD one kick. Every picture it looks green. Every video I see it almost looks like a pear green or more green. If I google it, looks green. However the one I ordered is bright yellow. This one also looks yellow in the video. Is there different models. I don’t wanna get an old model. Are they all yellow. Or a weird green? Haha any info will be helpful. Thanks
I'd say mine (in person) is certainly a green/yellow...it looks more yellow than all of the images out there but I think that's probably lighting more than anything. I don't think they've released an update at all
Ok this is probably really a stupid question. I use a TC Helicon PA for vocal and guitar effects into a Yamaha Stagepas mixer, very basic. Where would I put this in that set up ? For example, would it go from mono to mixer when TC Helicon is set to Stereo. Or would I then need two cables to run into my mixer ? I’m a bit lost and a complete novice.
Pick one up here: geni.us/lIxo
Very nice review. Also about the sens and thresh knobs.. Thx
Thanks for the review mate! Good stuff!
Is there any way to add a manual pedal to it because it’s hard to work when you’re standing up
I'm not sure...I guess in theory you could find a way to mount it and have a kick drum pedal hit it...not tried though!

I haven’t found volume issues at all even when using it live. Do you have the same issue with new batteries or when powered by mains?

That sounds like there might actually be a problem with your device. If you haven’t already then I’d get in touch with roland

I’m afraid not as it doesn’t have an input
fantastic review!!!!
what size amp did you use, also Bass or guitar amp ?

Will it loop so you don't have to keep hitting the pedal
keep hitting the pedal. for loop you need additional looper

I think you are absolutely right mate, the cymbal sounds like something a clown would use, (not trying to be funny though)😁
