Hello, Jai. Although this is an older video, it's spot on. I sincerely appreciate the comparison, as it encourages me to pursue the CISM exam. I passed the CISSP exam last week, and you are correct in that it's a rigorous test and not for the faint of heart. Unlike some pursuers, I spent years absorbing the material slowly, and used a lot of different study resources. I think that helped significantly. Other than the expense-factor, taking the CISM seems like a no-brainier. Thank you for sharing your experiences!
Did you do your CISM. Ideally, my advice is to do it within a few weeks after passing CISM and then breathe :)
Thank you for posting this video. I passed my CISSP back in 2018 right after the adaptive test was implemented and it took far less time than the 3 hours alloted. That said, it was quite challenging and your point on the 'What the hell' type of questions is exactly what I thought at the time.
It is good to know CISM will be far easier as I would like to get they certification next.

Thanks for the video. I took the CISSP last Nov for the 2nd time and failed. I was pretty disappointed, annoyed and have left it until now. This exam was as you described it, extremely tough. I actually ran out of time on question 125. Only now have I summoned up some courage to tackle the beast again but I am considering the CISM. For my sanity, perhaps take the easier one first and the the harder - not sure!
I would still go for the CISSP first. Regardless of the outcome I would attempt CISM 2 weeks after. Hope that makes sense.

Great video, I'm a PMP type so the CISM fits more along with what I want to do. CISSP is a headache I dont need.... :)

CISSP is way better than CISM. Even by material itself.
