Dulce….i remember watching your videos WAY BACK WHEN your UA-cam was called DulceCandy87 I believe. I used to watch you do your makeup while in your army uniform. I feel like I remember you doing that in your closet haha? I just remember a whole bunch of clothes in the background and you talking to the camera. I was like..12 years old watching you and I felt so much respect and pride in seeing you then and seeing you now. Thank you for doing this podcast because I learned so much. ❤
Dulce I really enjoyed this particular episode. As a long time viewer, I have always been somewhat curious about your and Jesse’s time in the military. It also nice to see you on camera with Jesse. I think I remember you saying he’s not super comfortable on camera but I would love to see more couples related podcasts with you both if you both are open to it. ❤
Thank you both so much for your service. You actually inspired me to join back in the days. I have now been in the Army for almost 11 years. Your advice to young women who want to join is great and accurate.
Thank you Jesse and Dulce for being open and vunerable in this episode. Veterans deserve so much admiration, appreciation, and the help they Need. I Can see how helpful this video will be to to people concidering the army and to fellow veterans ❤ . I think Jesse starting realestae to have a non profit to help out the homeless Vets is an incredible goal, Bless his soul. Thank you for serving this country and Happy Veterans Day. Aslo🎉 Happy Anniversary ❤ wishing you many more years of love and abundance .💞
Thank you Dulce and your husband for your service. As a military wife I really identified with you when I discovered you on Instagram over 10 years ago. My husband is now an army disabled veteran and we’re about the same age as you and your husband. The work that both of you are doing is amazing and god willing your husband will make that project a reality and haven for other veterans.
U.S. Navy Submarine Veteran here🙋🏻♀️ I’ve been watching you for a very long time since before I joined and now being a vet, I have been waiting for an episode about about both of your experiences. Especially as a female veteran❤️
Thank you both of you for your service, and your honesty. As my ex- husband was in the Army. I lived outside of Fort Sill, Lawton Oklahoma in 1998-1999 . I was 23 and he was 29 after a year he got out due to a medical discharge. All of this was done in early 2000. Being a military wife at the time was difficult, and later dealing with his health issues but as a military wife at the time it’s an experience I will never forget. It changed me as a person. Yes the VA process is cumbersome. Glad to hear there are many programs in the VA because in 2000 nothing was available. Thank you for your honesty from a woman perspective.
Thank you both for your service. Thank you for sharing you experience in the military. I am so happy you are here to continue to share your story, and inspire more young ladies. It’s unfortunate how many young ladies are not protected in the military, like Vanessa Guillen.
I thank you for putting this podcast out! I recently found out that one of the Marines I used to work with took her life and she has a daughter the same age as mine. We worked together for almost four years and we both had a rough time in. I wish so many more Veterans like myself and you sought more resources because they help so much but sadly some just don't or don't want anything to do with the VA. Thank you for your service, Happy Veterans Day, and for bringing awareness!
Thank you both for your service and for using your platform to talk about this. I had no idea that you both suffered from PTSD.❤️🩹 God bless you both 🙏🏽
It was so nice seeing and listening to Jesse, brought me back to the older days when you used to do family vlogs when Izek was younger🥰 Sending lots of love to your family Dulce, may your family remain strong and blessed🙏❤
My husband was in for 13 years. Honey the ptsd and the army messing up his pay on a level in which we almost lost everything…I was glad when he got out. It’s so much on you’re health, mental health and etc. Although he’s grateful for his experience; he’d never do it again. He’s now in the process of trying to get 100% disability and is at 70%. I wish I could just call y’all lol
Follow you since 09!!! Thank you for sharing your story w your husband!! Loooove you Dulce ❤❤❤ Happy Veterans day and thank you for serving for this country! Xoxo 🇺🇲 🇺🇸 🇺🇲
Thank you both for your service. I appreciate you guys using your platform to inform service members and veterans about their benefits.Vets deserve all the help possible. No one knows what we go through. The VA has so many resources I am currently going through my transitioning process from active duty back to civilian life. PTSD is a monster so if anyone really needs help the crisis line is 988.
Yess I’ve been following you back since when you got out of the Army!! When you first started vlogging & blogging!Such a long way from now. Those are the OG Videos. Also I’ve been a Military wife for 10 Years now.
Wow dulce thank you for all your wisdom, I honestly haven’t watched you since makeup tutorials years ago, but I’ve realized that I’ve literally grown with you and was naive and gullible and I can relate to you, missed you so much I’m literally gonna go watch all your previous videos 🫶🏽
Thank you both for your service. I'm sure this discussion has helped someone out there that needed/needs it. Thank you to all the men and women who or have serviced to keep us all safe.
Thank you for your service . I don't know if you ever touched on this subject I was wondering your thoughts on Vanessa Guill'en case. Hearing you say how you were mistreated as a woman in the service sounds scary especially when your giving your life away Its the last place you would think something so horrible can happen. Thank you
Thank you Dulce & Jesse for your service!🙏🏼❤️ Amazing advice and work you are both doing! And Jesse sending you many blessings and that you soon have the means to start your project to help homeless Veterans.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤
Thank you both for your service and for being so brave about sharing your experiences. I'm sure this was not easy but I also thank you for those that you are trying to and will help in the process. ♥
Thanks for yalls service 🙏. Thanks for sharing your story. Sad to hear about the abuse towards women in the military. I think about the story of Vanessa Guillen. God bless you all and your family 💕💗
Hi Dulce and jessie, great to see you guys tonight and talking about the military. Dulce, you as a strong women and also Jessie as a husband to a woman that has been in the military. What are both your take on the women that have served the army and have gone missing ? I understand its a very sensitive, extremely sensitive topic. If you can't share due to self explanatory reasons that we all understand. Did you ever feel unsafe during your time? And did Jessie help protect you from those ?
Thank you for sharing this. I’m struggling trying to get my husband the help he needs. He declines to get help because he says he doesn’t deserve it. I will definitely reach out to get that contact. Will he be able to help even if we are not living in California? God bless you both
Omg I didn’t even know you were still making videos!! I was such a huge fan for yearssss and my subscription feed hasn’t showed me your videos in so long 😭😭 anyways.. I have a lot to catch up on now yay ♥️ 😊
Does the VA offer these services for free ? Or at a cost ?? Because I have seen veterans at a clinic I worked for and they have different views on the VA
Good morning Dulce. I don’t know if you’ll see this message but I’m reaching out to see if you could share the information on who it was that helped with vetaran benefits. I have a boyfriend who is a veteran and is seeking assistance with his benefits and disability. As the VA isn’t always helpful and my boyfriend has been struggling with his disability benefits. If you’re able to provide me with this information I would greatly appreciate it ❤
What irks me is people who don’t need assistance but are bleeding the system… all of a sudden everyone has PTSD. Even if they never saw combat or even had an injury. But people who actually have physical or mental issues are struggling to get their benefits.

My husband is a disabled combat veteran but is too proud to get increased benefits. It makes me proud of him and his resolve.

If you’re able to provide me with this information I would greatly appreciate it ❤
If a squadron has issues with retention or getting new ppl in then they will give a bonus.
💓
Thank you for your service 🇺🇸 ❤️

omg, havent seen you in sooo long
In order to get a bonus now you have to score 31. That’s sad!!
This is great! I work in affordable housing and my organization offers Veterans housing. Let me know if you need an information or resources.
Not everyone thanking these two for their services in an unneeded war on iraq 😂 may you two be punished for all the innocent lives taken 🤲🏻
