If you can't acknowledge that there would be any similarities then I think you're just being close minded, especially the way that you respond with the italics haha. My hunch is that you like Hank Moody so much because you probably think you are (or at least want to be) like him. Dude, I've been a fan since the show dropped, OF COURSE I caught the Slayer reference! There's also tons of other ones as well. RIchard Bate's novel was called Crack The Sky (Mastodon), episodes like "In Utero" , "Zoso", "The Land Of Rape and Honey", etc.

Not capitalizing in a certain situation is not considered a grammar error, but most likely a spelling one, in which case yes, I sometimes don't type the "I" because I'm not used to it. You might or might not believe me, but I don't live in an English-speaking country.
