This reminds me of Tiametmarduk race at Monaco were he lapped the whole grid because they kept pitting after one lap.

Back in 2018 you could change the difficulty in game from within the race
This is the first f1 game since 2016 that I haven’t purchased right at release. The more I see it becomes less and less likely that I’ll even buy it at all to be honest
You should have driven on wets or some such challenge😅

With each new game from codemasters (or bugmasters as I like to call them) game breaking bugs always happen. Do they even have QA? Oh wait, it’s us the players
Same thing happened to me on F1 23 and I restarted the race and it was fine. I started on pole and the end of lap one i had a 30 second lead after i restarted everything went back to normal
I had a simular glitch on F1 23 but it only did this to the weather in coop where because my friend who was host, cycled to casual it locked the weather to cleaer.
I know it differant to this but I am getting really simular vibes where reseting did nothing.
Here we go, alternate storyline for those people (like me) that can't deal with glitches: After practice, young Haas rookie Matt Beard tested positive with Covid-19 and was forced to sit out the rest of the race weekend, so, for the third practice session, his fellow countryman Oliver Bearman stepped in to fill his spot. But, unfortunately young Ollie hadn't quite alcimatetised to this new F1 gig, and finished rock bottom (except for the Hamilton DNF).
i had that problem on vegas aswell and i js restarted the game and it fixed it
The only thing you can do is close the game and open it again and maybe it will be in the screen before it goes into the race where you can actually change the ai and stuff
They removed this feature when the games became 'always online' which is really REALLY stupid 😅

I wish the guys who make Assetto Corsa Competionale did the F1 game! It would be amazing
The quality control was on vacation for this one. cannot explain why it ever went to amateur in the 1st place but i would've guessed that changing the difficulty during the race weekend doesn't actually adapt immedeately but during the next session even though it clearly shows. maybe also the reason why it went back to 25% when you restarted.

Matt, I suggest to release more F1 2000 videos, before the patch for weather tires and drs trains comes. I love your content but the constant DRS trains are extremely frustrating to watch
Why did we trust EA - possibly the worst company for the job - to oversee development of F1 games?
Might it be worth going back to F1 23?
I just got an update and it’s the 1.4 update maybe it’s for that bug but we’ll see when Matt uploads again

Matt you do know 98% of the F1 players have been saying EA need to FIX this game for the last 2 YEARS!!! F1 22 and F1 23 needed to be fixed!! but due to people like you saying its fine WE DIDNT get a fix!! now cos you are playing what we had to put up with for the last 2 years, i hope they take their time and fix it in the next one. make you suffer for over a year, like we had to. fair is fair.
