This is where the Chinese lived during the early part of 1900s. They built the levees in delta all the way up to Marysville. Also, they taught the farmers how to work the land to an advantage as current community were having issues. It took nearly 50 years before this place was made a historical landmark but one named Connie King, her house is famous for the toilet garden.
