For under 1000ft elevation 30 minutes for the pie filling and 15 minutes for the blackberry lemonade concentrate :) if above 1000ft you’ll need to increase processing time depending on your elevation
I love the handle placement on that roaster pan! I’m excited to make a few shrubs and lemonade concentrates this year too. OK, and pie filling. So, all the things. 😂
Just popped the blackberry lemonade concentrate in the canner. Can’t wait to use this in kombucha 😃. Thanks for sharing. I am new to your channel and am really enjoying your videos. 😘
Thanks for sharing this video. I will definitely try the pie filling and blackberry lemonade concentrate when our crop of blackberries comes in this year. I just got through doing about 12 cases of jelly from last year’s berries so I don’t think I will need to make any more.
Thank you! I appreciate you watching them! I promise it isn’t as scary as it can seem at first, the more you research it the more you are likely to feel comfortable making it :)
Abbey, I have had pressure canned ground beef for the past two years. I really like being able to toss a spaghetti meal, tacos, or any other ground beef based meal. I did try spaghetti sauce with meat it is also good. Maybe try making a jar or two if you are already processing another type of meat.
Can I make any of these without sugar? And possibly without cornstarch? I cannot eat sugar prefer not to eat cornstarch. I will sweeten when served with my "special sweetners".
How long was the pie filling and lemonade water bathed? Thank you!

@@abbeyverigin Thank you! I want to try the lemonade. Blackberries don't grow our cold State. 😀

My daughter makes all her pie fillings with Pomona pectin. It's approved for canning and gels with or without sweetener.
I'm enjoying your videos 😁
Thank you! Interesting - I use pomonas for jam but hadn’t considered using it for pie filling. Thanks for the tip!
I'm working on canning up my freezer too. I made the beef taco recipe with some venison my dad gave me. I'm hoping to eat it when they come visit.
Thank you, I enjoy your videos very much !!! Also 😊 I love kombucha, but scared to make it.

I think I will! Thank you :)
I really like the look of that roaster pan, what brand is it?
The brand is Salton :)
How long will the shrub last in the fridge?
I think I'd opt for juice instead of water in the pie filling, just for the flavor benefit
You definitely could! We don’t find it needs it.
Looks excellent! How many cups of frozen blackberries does it take to make the pie filling? Thank you
It turned out great! We opened a jar last night. It is 3.5 cups per quart.
@@abbeyverigin Thank you so much! Looks delicious!
@@abbeyverigin Loving your videos.☺️👍
@@pennyhibbard250 thank you!
After making the Blackberry Lemonade concentrate can you make jam out of the strained off blackberries?
Im sure you could but I haven't tried it

Yes I think that would work! The pie filling would need to be thickened with an alternate thickening agent before putting together the pie
🤤🤤❤❤
I always preserve blackberry as fat in my body.
Lol. Thanks!
