I’m trying to transition to ink. I’ve drawn with pencil all my life. Thank you for the advice 🙏
My jaw dropped every time you showed your finished pieces. I’d love to have one piece of those framed in my home
Wow, thanks. I love the effect you got on that girl's hair and the bunnies from the frayed brush. Amazing.
Thank you for making this video! I've always wanted to use ink but I didn't know where to start, your art is astounding I can't wait to see more in the future ^^
Im so glad it was useful!!
These are amazing. Also, I love how concise it was - so many other artist videos on youtube are just long rambles that are hard to get meaningful information from.
Oh my dear Glob! you have no idea how important these tips are! thank you so much! You are the best I swear!
Gosh those little bunnies looked so fluffy and adorable!!
It's really interesting to see how many things you can do with inktober besides using just Ink pens. I've seen people using so many different techniques this year which makes it more exciting to try.. (one day). Thank you for making & sharing this video, it feels motivating to experiment(especially by mentioning the sketches & tracing practice in the beginning, it makes it feel more..achievable and fun as a challenge)
I totally recommend trying ink! Even if its just playing around with it to have fun. Such a versatile medium!
Will definitely try! It's always been a big scare for me, as it is very "absolute" I'd say. But thank you for showing more playful sides of it, it makes me fear it a little bit less. Thank you for making this videos as.. human as possible (I wish I knew how to express this better but I hope it comes across!)
The most useful ink related video i've seen so far. Thank you! Also your illustrations are so beautiful
I saw your art on instagram and you're so good! I'm really glad you made this video, you really gave me ideas and techniques to improve my inking!
Im so glad it was helpful!
Nice tutorial!
No unnecessary talking.
Thank you
this is really great! i did inktober too and now i'm an addict. i've started using chinese inksticks and mixing my own ink. thanks for showing how you use some of these different techniques in your art. figuring out how to translate all the cool effects i can get into art i make is what i'm working on now, so thanks! ^_^
😊😊😊😊 I may just start inktober aswell
About to move onto ink for the first time so thank you for your super helpful content! Seems to act similar to watercolour when mixed with water so excited to play around with that!
WOW! I love your drawings. They are outstanding! 😵
I just saw the Bobby Chiu interview. I've been drawing with ink for awhile but stumped on how to take it to the next level. I will have to give these techniques a try!
One of my art teachers showed your tutorial and it was really helpful. Thank you 😊
Your art work is really cool, I love it.
Really cool drawings :) Thanks for sharing your ink techniques and works
Awesome info thanks! I'm 100% new, just recieved my first glass quill and have 10 colors to play with, excited to start playing 💜
Absolutely beautiful!! I could watch these all day! Thank you so much from a grateful Inktober noob ;)
Excellent video. I use opaque white gouache for highlights at the end of a watercolour painting, just like you've used white ink, which I've never heard of until now.
Thank you so much!! Helps a lot. You inspired me to try this out and. Ow I love it!
Really informative and covered everything I was looking for and more :) thank you!!
The frayed brush technique was nice.
YOUR ART IS GORGEOUS!!!!!
Great artist and teacher!

Your videos are fantastic! Thank you for making them and sharing your insight and tips.
oh my god I love your content and art so much please keep doing what you're doing ❤️
Really love your style and all the pieces you did
I recently started Inktober but i went in blindly; i saw a video using colored ink, but i only had black drawing ink and dip pens with metal tips you can change the size. So far so good, I also incorporated watercolor brush pens in every canvas i have. This video of yours will come in handy in my next drafts. Subscribed 😁
i absolutely love your work
Thank u this is so helpful. Im trying to prepare to do inktober for the first time 💗
cool video! I'm trying to figure out how to present ink to drawing 1 students who have never used ink before. I plan to use a variety of (gasp) worksheets and exercises to allow them to become familiar with the medium before they work on a finished drawing.
You are so talented!!!
This video helped me a lot! Exactly what I was searching for! Thank you so so much! Very simply explained and I've got new inspiration. The most difficult part for me is to get gray tone of the brush, but practice makes the master, right? ))
Wow your videos are really in high quality, both the content and how it's been filmed! I can't wait to see your channel grow big soon :)
(I just finished watching all of your videos, including the very first one which is "Tiger Cub Speedpaint"~)
Thank you so much!!!
Beautiful work.
You are a wonderful artist, incentive initiated
Your. Work is amazing and I love your videos. I am excited to put your tips into practice to prepare for my first inktober
I came for dealing with watering down my ink but man your art is beautiful
Fabulous art and thank you so much for the great tips.
Can you share the best way to clean watercolor brushes after using them with ink? Thank you! I love your channel!
Love your drawings!
Very helpful tips, thank-you!
Wow, amazing images!!
THIS is what I've been looking for!! *maniacal laughter hahahahahehehehe .. ;) Seriously though! This is SUCH a great tutorial to get started with ANY inks and water colour too. A lot I knew but there were things in there that I just never thought of, & it's really going to help. So Thankyou!!! Also your work is DIVINE mamma🙌💋
Hey, love the video. Perhaps look at masking fluids for leaving white behind 😁😁 i use a masking pen to leave small white details
When I'm technically good, I really want to be an illustrator in the kind of style of Emily Carroll or Pam Smy and they use black and gray shades as you do on most of your drawings. So thank you so much for your art, techniques and everything you share with us.
Btw are you using watercolor paper ? (the support for your drawings seems to be quite smooth unlike watercolor paper. )
Thank you the video! Very informative 🙏🏻👍
thank you thank you, i am newbie and you inpired me.
Hello! Thank you so much for this video, really helpful and fascinating to follow, could you say me which kind of paper you use? thanks again, awesome Video!
So cool!
Your work is really beautiful, you should be so proud. I had a question. I love how you got the 3d effect of the iguana (chameleon?!) using thick marker and fineliners. Where can I find more advice on how to vary line weight in my drawings?
Thank you for sharing! ❤️
Thank you so much for this!!!
Thank you so much
That was super helpful thanks!
Thank you
Is the white that you used ink or acrylic paint? Such stunning work btw! Can’t wait to get back into making art :)
Great tips, thank you. 😊 Do you ever use water colour pens? I have a bunch in all different colours but I don't really know how to use them properly. They have mixed nibs, one end a brush, the other a hard chisel edge.
Ive never used them before but i can look into it!!
Cool thanks! Maybe you'll like them!? 😁👍
A bit confused because I was watching Bobby Chiu and he was talking about using thicker lines on the side away from you light source.
You really need to make more videos, pleeeease
Love this so much
True talent
Thank you
I'm looking for some spooky landscapes heavy ink. Did one by accident old barn pencil dust for clouds
Using finger. These drawings are fantastic thanks battery almost gone so I'm writing this
Fast.
Nice Video. I am a total beginner with no art background. Do you have a video about the different brushes you're using and the brands? Thanks
Sorry if by any chance you talked about this already, if you did, I didn't catch it! Quick question is you could help me... Does alcohol (india) ink stain porcelain/ceramic palette? Or does it wipes away like watercolors? I'm about to buy my first inks and don't want to ruin my watercolor palette!
Thank you!
NIce simple tips here. Thanks.
the winsor ink you use, is it waterproof or non waterproof? great video!
I love the layering technique a lot. What is ink wash. Thanks
