Love the video! I went all in on Legion Imperialis! All in! I have like 18k points of models, both new Legion and Solar Auxilia models, as well as as models for a Titan Legion worthy of the title. Granted, I still have to built and paint all of it, but it has been a long time since I was genuinly excited for a new game and a new project like I am now. So I will raise an army worthy of the Warmaster! I will field Death Guard Space Marines , Barbaran Ambaxtois Auxilia, Maniples of Legio Mortis and Legio Audax and an entire Household force of House Malinax. Sometimes in the furure a Drop Pod assault Detachement of World Eaters will deploy in support. I rarely get my hopes up for GW these days, but here I hope for Dark Mechanicum, Ruinstorm Daemons and tiny Primarchs! An maybe, just maybe, some of the Demon Machines from Epic 40k. I dare to dream of Daemon Titans!
@@martinjrgensen8234 Not the OP, but I've played a lot of LI since it came out, and I am still enjoying it greatly. Yes, most games only take 2-3 turns, and yes, those turns take 2 hours each, but in a sense that doesn't really matter. You make plenty of moves, you roll plenty of dice, you make plenty of choices, and it's fun. We even got to blow up a bridge with bombers yesterday, dumping the marines trying to cross it into the acid river beneath :)
You can use a lot of it. The playgroup I am in mixes old and new models as needed, and it works 90% of the time. The only real exceptions are the massive changes in scale between the original Thunderhawks and the current ones. They are so incredibly different that the old models don't really make sense. Of course, they are fine as flyers where scale doesn't really matter, but in skimmer mode the old versions are smaller than a rhino, which doesn't really work that well.
@@daviddonachie5333 But no Xenos (I can hope) which would be the inferred issue from the "40k" Heresy doesn't preclude having Xenos in the game, but GW have said there's several years on HH stuff already mapped out, implying no Xenos for quite some time.
Great review. Lore ,the assembled minis , and tips to top it off. All this information in one review is greatly appreciated. Would love to see one last pic of the new minis with a current mini (something common like a rhino or russ) for size comparison. Thanks and keep up the great work!
Lore 10/10, would watch again
Another fire video from the queen of lore.
These are so much fun to build and paint. Allows me to build the tank army of my dreams

Have you played the game? I hear mixed things
@@martinjrgensen8234 I like it a lot! Maybe try for a demo game at a FLGS?

Yay, tiny tanks! I just wish they had included a 40k setting for the game so we could use our old Epic stuff again.

@@DavidManser Yeah, pretty much this.
@@DavidManser I don't disagree, and it is a shame. I know there are 3rd party rules for xenos, but that's not to many people's tastes

That's a great idea - thank you, I will make sure to do size comparisons in future :)
