The fact the game over screen's text is in Comic Sans is probably the most perfect thing about this game.
Taking inspiration from Sonic Adventure 2, I see
Penny saying "No no no no no" over and over brings up memories of me discovering a final paper I'd written for grad school had become corrupted when my computer crashed..... and yet Penny cackling in hysterics while watching the "EVERYTHING is on fire" cutscene brings back memories of opening that file after my laptop tried to recover it and the closest thing to a coherent phrase in the entire thing being "And the client does". Thanks Penny, this video ended up giving me the closure that I think the therapist I can't afford due to grad school tuition would've helped me to get, and now I can spend that money on a copy of "Ruff Trigger: The Vanocore Conspiracy" instead.
That was a lot...eh high school was traumatic for all of us 😌

6:08 That's actually how my first DnD experience went lol We were supposed to sneak into someplace (i don't remember) and we only alerted one guard. We quickly killed him and I was like "Guys, we just killed a person Q~Q" and they were like "He was a bad guy, its fine." And then I continued to kill indiscriminately for the rest of the campaign lol
YALL DID RUFF TRIGGER? I Had nightmares completing this game!!! The fact you had to restart from the beginning after loosing all your lives drove me nuts as a child. So happy I actually finished the game 😭

I hate the werehog segments and because of Sky Chase I can't even leave Windmill Isle...
@@Kitsuna_Gacha you only do the sky chase sections twice and initially the werehog will be a little boring due to lack of combos but once you unlock many of them it will be really fun to just pass through levels.
@@aahiljcat Here's my problem: I'm a Nintendo player on an Xbox. I can't hit all the random combos when everything's backwards for me. A = B, X = Y and vice-versa. And if I flip the controls, my brain fights over both of them...

Sonic unleashed will always remain as my favourite sonic game. The werehog stages were really fun and i will gladly die on that hill.

Ah, yes. Ruff Trigger. I tried to play this game once, since I like anthro animal characters and sci-fi, but the gameplay and controls were so bad, I rage quit very quickly. The only part of the game I enjoyed was the motorcycle segments.
This is the sort of game that makes me think it's commonly referred to as an "underrated gem", but only by furries

Coincidentally, I remember first hearing about this game on the PS3 version of the PlayStation Store, where they sold a VERY random selection of “PS2 Classics” briefly. I don’t know if the PS3 online store is even still up, and considering how Sony seems to be deliberately slowing down the PS4 version of the store now, I don’t even want to try logging in. But if it’s still up, Penny could have avoided those shenanigans with almost losing the disc and just downloaded it to her PS3 instead. It probably would have been cheaper than buying the original physical release off of eBay, too!
the sound at 1:52 is the same sound they used for the title cards in the medabots cartoon and it scared the shit out of me

I never heard of this game, but to me Sonic Unleashed is very fun to play. I'm not sure about R&C cause I never played the original before. Honestly, I get the title though based on what Ruff Trigger looks like.
I sort of felt the same way towards Blinx the Timesweeper, but Blinx itself wasn't bad to play it's just hard to do so as much as R&C: A Crack in Time in PS. I know they're both different games made in different companies but I just feel like they have the same vibes based on their own pace towards the "alter times" plot.
I have no hate on these games. Just stating these things. Also, great video! 😁
