What a monster! Looks great and awesome breakdown. I’ll have to do a video but I’ll refer people to this one for now. That’s how I did my axles and Matt from 2fmrc has shown a couple like that, too. Can’t wait to see it run. Btw, on those shocks, if you add just enough 500k dif lube to coat the inside of the cylinder, they dampen amazing. I just whittled down a piece of wood to reach to the bottom. If you get too much, you’ll have to squeeze it closed and it will make a mess. Just takes a little. Can’t wait to see it run!
Thanks Josh! I'm having a ton of fun with the build and loving how it's turning out. Thanks for the tip with those double barrels I'll definitely try that. RTYF!
Thanks bro! TexomaRC does rock! Josh Is going to be the go to source for affordable competition style 24 scale chassis for sure, the thought process behind his designs is pure genius!
Just ordered mine. Gone for black like you have. It’s going to be built from spare scx24 parts. Although I need axles. So need to decide what route to go there. Seeing yours has made me pretty keen to build one 👍
Dude. Get some scx24 links. Any size you want. Get a 2ml drill bit and drill out the brass/aluminum balls. Go slow and try not to scuff the ball while holding it in a vice or whatever. I just wrapped mine in tape and grabbed them with pliers. 8 drilled balls for the axle ends of the links 8 standard balls for the scx24 skid end. Also you can order 12tooth upper portal gears for fms axles. This underdrives the rear (slow it down) and you can keep your 2speed trans. Furitek has a flat bottom skid in brass or aluminum. These changes will crush the comp. Keep going! The slayer is a simple but seriously effective chassis kit. 24 for life👍🤠👍
I bought a the Injora Scx24 rod ends so I have them here on hand for custom builds. This rig is running non standard everything so link lengths are kinda unique?

Check out mofo RC for cheap axles. Their nylon portal axles are working well for me on my Power Wagon build!

Great brake down dude
Thanks dude, I'm loving the Slayer Chassis so far!
*Need to get hold of one of these slayers.
He'll yeah! Josh has got some great deals going on making it very cost effective to swap over to a super high performance chassis.
