- Warren Buffett's advice tends to be simple but often contains some very profound truths about doing well in both investing and life. This video focuses on a number of entertaining stories, including how Buffett chose a career in investing as well as how he dealt with his fear of public speaking.
I absolutely agree, all of us underestimate who we really are and what we can do! I was working dishwashing jobs before I found out I was a translator and programmer, now I’m making about 219,000 dollars in a year.
Had the good fortune of working at Munger’s law firm for over 20 years and having Mr. Buffett guest speak at our luncheon. I still follow these two after all these years.
It's amazing. This UA-cam video was recorded 15 years ago (this is 2023 when I just viewed it) ! Thanks. These 2 guys are simply amazing !
7:00 Marry the right person
8:45 Invest in yourself, learn how to communicate
I always do...
how to find the right person
@@dennis.teevee I have had 8 wives. Only 3 were mine though..
Always refreshing to watch these clips and listen to two senior and successful gentlemen share their experience, wisdom and wit. The "advice" invariably seems to be about the basics in life, following your passions and working hard to build your skills in these, interpersonal skills and listening, surrounding yourself with those you respect, like and trust, and keeping things simple, especially financially matters.
Tremendous wisdom. Many must admit we all need to look at ourselves honestly.
This channel has become one of my favorites. thank you
Very happy to hear that, let us know if there is anything we can improve!
Dates of the talks would be nice 👍🏻
@@superinvestor One suggestion. Please add timeline on these videos. This video is most likely 15 years old. Always help with the context.
love to watch these two give interviews. thank you!
💫Thank you for saying that, and the last quote "doing something simple and important rather than foolish and unimportant" ; plenty of it isn't simple thou🌠
God has definitely blessed both of these guys ❤. Thanks for helping me save money. Templeton. Welch, Lee Iacocca my Mount Rushmore of business people.
As a person that worked for GE, I can tell you that Welch was a jerk, in my opinion.
yep, i'm good at finance too... Married one of those smart German women that can make 6x more than me... got her young and dumb while i was in the Army, and sent her to College...and stay away from Party girls... etc... when i got her to the US, i said, do you want to stay home and fight, or do you want to go to College... she made a good choice, beside me, College and Uni... married almost 39 years, money helped... That's why we should have a $1000 UBI for each adult... money is Freedom and Choice, you choose someone you love, and not a checkbook, would benefit society and kids...relationships.... Just get rid of Food Stamps and Unemployment... and pay people an American Dividend, Patrick Henry, yes, that one, even back then....and no Bill Collector, etc, is allowed to touch your American Dividend...
"It's only when the tide goes out that you learn who's been swimming naked." - Warren Buffett
My advice too, Learn everything you can, find all the people you can and figure out what you can charge in exchange for your skills, if you don’t succeed try again, advertising helps out too.
If you own the world and lose yourself what is your gains anyway you will take few pounds of sands that's all your gain
just go after your problems, solve them, and do what you are passionate about, get good things in life, meet good people, and thats it
Introverted people usually speak when they have something to say! Cheerio.
I always like when he calls “Charlie”
I didn't pay attention at all to this video or any of the life-changing advice it offers. All I know is that I now have an insatiable craving for See's peanut brittle.
If you think these guys are wise, humble, or kind… you really don’t understand business or the world.
The Best of the Best of the Best
Lol Charlie at the end

So what is wasting, I need my money
cool
I think old age has treated both of you well.
Cool
Warry Baby!
Everyone is looking at him as a wise man and applauding him but he has zero reflection on the true impact of his life beside making money. He will die leaving a worse planet that he found with a direct result of his life decisions.
Can it
🤣😂😆 yeah, he only gave jobs to hundreds of thousands of people 💀☠️💩🤣😂😆
Thank you for speaking the truth. Everything they say is meaningless. Everything they say must be seen through the lens of having billions of dollars. Life is certainly swell when you are in that situation. The fact that they are still working doesn't mean that they enjoy work, it just means that they are too simple to find anything else in life to interest them.
“… and start spending your life hoarding social construct tokens, like meeee…”
I did know that Warran is really funny…
I think I live in the best country in the world too 🇮🇳
😂
Definitely potential there. I would say like a primising startup.
Certainly not.
Why do you need a spouse?
So you can have child

GREED, IS WHAT W I L L BRING YOUR USA down to nearly NOTHING, not too long from now.
As Thomas Jefferson stated, '' For the selfish spirit, of COMMERCE, THERE IS : The selfish spirit of commerce knows no country, and feels no passion of principle but that of gain.
If I had Buffett's money I would live like a Vanderbilt

Wealth and inequality are real things. I learned absolutely nothing here.
Are those sweets and Coke's on the table ?
✅🤔😆
spoiled
This guy is so rich, yet so cheap. Maybe he changed his ways but last I heard he was living in a cheap crappy house and driving a miserable car. Who’s wasting his life?
That's why he is where he is. He does not waste money on depreciating assets (cars).
Your home point is interesting. Big houses have big bills. If he is content, who cares?
He lives in a lovely house.
so, these guys are up there because they have way too much money......they are popular because they have money????
Yeah and I can share some advice to you too
Rich people are too comfortable to give advice
