Tell me a bit about the price difference. Is choosing private accommodation a lot cheaper?
Jia Wei here! Yes, private accomodation is even sometimes 2x cheaper than student accomodation! I've had friends paying only £30+ per week, with bills maybe only £40+ (the average student accomodation outside, in Treforest area is £60-70), whereas in student accomodation it's usually £90-100+ for USW.

@@Gippeumie Try the South Wales Student Pad - an initiative started by USW for students to contact landlords/letting agents for private housing :) You can view the houses and its prices, and pictures there!
