Hey I love your art but I wanted to let you know that the VAs have said they're extremely uncomfortable with people making and using AI audios of their voices! I figure this was just good fun and you didn't know so I figured I'd let you know!
@@MrJoeyWheeler They very much DO get a say actually, and it’s VERY different from splicing syllables. Splicing syllables is just taking different clips and putting them together. AI voices are trained models from voice actors without consent that are literally beginning to be used to replace hiring VAs for new work. Even if it weren’t different, it’s not that hard to respect VAs desires. If you want technology to match on, you have to do so with the consent of those whose voices you’re working with. For example, vocaloid like Miku is made with the consent of the VA. The actress knew exactly what her voice would be used for. On the other hand, Xander Mobus, for example, took the role of Joker with the information that he was doing a performance for a game and only that. He never consented for his voice to be used to train AI. It’s also just kinda rude of you to talk over the artist who made the video on the matter when they already replied.
