Nice! I have a PSA sub coming back right now, too! It was cool meeting you and your wife at Collector's Expo a couple weeks ago. I'll be coming up again to vendor at the East Bay Card Show next month!
Thanks for swinging by the table at the Collecter's Expo. We hope you had a great show and that we were able to provide a good experience when visiting the table. We look forward to seeing you next month at the East Bay Show!
We will generally grade vintage cards as they are more stable long term, and they aren't as volatile in comparison to the hottest modern trends. Not to mention, these cards are my childhood, so there's always that nostalgic feeling bonus!
Not sure if you heard about Gamestop doing PSA grading for $15 a card. What are your thoughts about it if you do not mind sharing. Keep up the fantastic work and videos!
My thoughts regarding PSA grading through Gamestop is that I don't entrust anyone with my cards except for myself. I don't submit through another company or store, I always submit the cards to PSA myself. There have already been instances with shops having issues with PSA submissions, and I just don't want to add any risk to the situation where my cards are at jeopardy. Not to mention with PSA Collectors Club, the cost of submission is cheaper especially since there's always some sort of monthly deal.
@@IntropyDR Understandable, definitely does make it another risk that you have to think about. Hope there will be a way to just go into a PSA store itself and submit it physically.
The Charizard was essentially peeling on all sides, so I guess it wasn't worth of being slabbed? It definitely would look more presentable in a slab even if in a PSA 1 than how it currently looks like in a binder lol.
Some of these grades seem low. Maybe its the back of the cards, but man you should crack a few of the 4-6's there were a few that looked 8+. Again, could be the backs of them but there's no question PSA graders tend to grade different, shame really.
People in general don't like submitting cards to PSA unless they get a high grade, which I believe is tunnel vision. If a card is expensive in raw condition even in the condition it is in, there's an argument that it should be slabbed for a variety of reasons. PSA 1s can fetch a small premium as they can go for higher than PSA 2-4s at times. It's all about doing your due diligence and understanding the market.
Really great video!!

@@IntropyDR Makes sense for grading them. Vintage Pokemon are also the cards of childhood as well. Always nice to see them. Great video!
Would love to see you start showing the backs too!
Are you selling the sequentials?
The Japanese stamp promos have been claimed!

nice grades!
Hi understand u mentioned u always grade vintage no matter the condition but do u really make much or any profit form this? Just curious
How damaged does a card have to be for it to not get slabbed? The charizard ex didn't look that bad but obviously I can't see all the details on it

I've never seen psa grades below like a 4 and you had many cards at a 1 why do you send those in?
