@@stevenpop2746no, honestly she really wasn’t. Her form- especially twisting- was not good. It’s why she never won a gold medal internationally on the event. Anna was amazing but didn’t have the difficulty others had.
@@ilitleo what about her whip+whip+dbl arabian in 2013 and 2014, back 1 1/2 to front 1 1/2, dbl layout in 2015 and her 1/1 back tuck that she was CONSISTANT on in 2016 and 2018?
Except Afanaseva was a world floor champion… and Anna wasn’t. Afanaseva was more consistent with her floor routines and got incredibly good as time went on. Anna lacked the difficulty Ksenia possessed. Anna was amazing for sure, but Ksenia had the accolades to prove herself. Julia was one I’d actually forgotten about. She was wonderful on floor. Refresh my memory, did she ever go to the Olympics?
@@saragrant9749 she didn’t. Yulia got banned from the national team because in 2007 she disobeyed the coaches during the beam routine in team finals. She needed to do a double tuck dismount , she did a very nice routine but she suddenly decided to dismount with a double Arabian and failed the landing, russia lost a medal because of her
@@ilitleo oh dear, not the first time I’ve heard of them chucking an athlete out of the scene over an error (Anna pavlova comes to mind). I just hope she was happy with everything she did get to accomplish. Maybe if she’d been in Beijing they’d have actually won that team bronze…
Did Listunova perform a double double there at the end?
Produnova was the Russian queen of front tumbling!
How i wish Lobaznyuk had a long career. 🤧 Her floor was amazing!
anna pavlova?? aliya mustafina??
Mustafina wasn’t a great tumbler 😅. Tough I love her
@@ilitleobefore her injury she was!

I would also add Yulia Lozhecko and I would choose Pavlova over Afanasyeva. They did the same skills but for me pavlova was best
