The Auto Boost had a brighter look to it. It also looked a little smoother while looking at the dash. I really did not notice the crop until you pointed it out. Especally with the helmet. That was really cool deep dive.

With the GoPro 12 I am interested in two things, the Bluetooth Audio with a helmet com, how it sounds and can davinci make it better? The other thing is the Tripod mount. so many "reviews and comparisons" bash the go pro 12 for having the finger setup. Well the GoPro 12 has the tripod threads. I question if the tripod mount on a handlebar will create more vibration? Also are there dampeners for Tripod Mounts? One other thing is with the go pro 12 mounting system you can upgrade at least the go pro 9-11 with the new gopro finger mount with tripod threads just by buying a gopro 12 replacement finger mount kit.
I haven't even tried the bluetooth audio - results I've heard are mixed, at best. The tripod deal in the finger piece is interesting, but if you're using a media mod, that's a no-go - I tried. The threads don't reach far enough through the media mod to grab the camera. As for the fingers themselves, they should be the same for 9/10/11/12, so buying the 12 fingers with the tripod hole should work just fine. Thanks for watching & asking questions, Scott!
The Bangles reference earned you 1986 internet points today. Hero 11 and mini Hero 7 sacrifice cameras Years ago I was told my helmet footage was nauseating to watch, especially on big screens. I like the autoboost setting you demonstrated. I also try to not glance too quickly or switch cameras to avoid the barfs. Have you experimented with 60fps? Have you experimented with 32-bit float audio?
LOL, awesome! I used to record at 60fps, but when I got the Max, I switched everything to 30fps to match, and now it's just easier to edit with, store, and it's far easier on the cameras. 32-bit audio is awesome - but I haven't tried it :( I have nothing that'll record it.
Did GoPro update the firmware on the Hero 11 to support the MLM2.0? FWIW, you're about the only person I know with a Hero 11 that doesn't have issues with it.
I don't even have a camera from this decade 😆 In fact, I just checked, it is almost a decade old model. I have been feeling like getting a new one, but ... reasons.... money...
