Did you ever get the amber fault light corrected on the Ford Home Pro 80amp charger? I just had miine installed today with all proper copper wiring and it is set to 7 with a 100 amp breaker. It started off pulsing blue like it is supposed to do and was pretty much averaging the entire time anywhere from 14 to 17 kwh charge rate. It was consitantly adding 32-35 miles per hour. However, at times the solid amber light did come on and at times, the charge rate did decrease to 5-7 kwh. The solid amber light did disappear at times and then reappear. It still produced 32 plus miles per hour as promised. Is this still a problem i need to deal with ? Or should I not worry about it since it is producing as promised? Any advice will be much appreciated and please let me know if your solid amber light has been resoved. Alan
Has anyone had any issues with losing the motors? Had mine for 800 miles and had a front motor fault were i lost the front motor after having it charge over night with a tesla charger with j1772 adaptor. Took it into the dealer still haven’t heard back its been there since Wednesday. I only had 53% power and could go 47mph.
Just a quick comment about plugging your iPhone into your car. I have a Ford Explorer and I find that the cables that I use need to be replaced periodically as after about 6-9 months the connection is not detected. I’ve found that the connectors sometimes show cracks so the signaling maybe affected. Also, isn’t the F-150 Lightning equipped with Sync 4. I thought CarPlay is supposed to support wireless connections with Sync 4 so you shouldn’t need to plug in. At least that’s what I was hoping for. I was thinking that I would just drop the phone on the Qi charger and it would be wirelessly connected. Hope that works the way I think it’s supposed to work.
Hi there! I am eagerly awaiting my F-150 Lightning Lariat - due for production 12/12/2022! I have been watching your channel to get your perspective on the truck - I believe you have the same model as I will be getting in Antimatter Blue. I particularly like the one video you posted from the TN trip that has the truck driving back to pickup your “camera crew” - you can really hear the slick sound the regen motors make when you slow down to u-turn. I was curious if you have seen any water infiltration issues in the front tor rear light bars - I have seen a few posts on a couple lightning owners forums reporting that and was curious if you have seen it.
Hey Kurt! I have not had any problems with water in any of the light bars or anywhere else. I have driven it in several heavy thunderstorms along our coastal area and have taken it through about twelve inches of standing water a few times. No problems.
Looks like yours pulls slightly to the right like mine (if you hold steering wheel straight), and have to keep the steering wheel tilted slightly to the left to go straight. My dealer says it's normal but I've had many different f150s over the past 15 years and none had this, not sure if it's an alignment issue or with the extra weight of the battery on the bottom it's more prone to pull to the slope of the road. Thoughts?
Loved this update. Smooth drive, smooth delivery of useful information. Only 600 miles on mine - excited to keep exploring it!
6.2k no issues.....average of 2.5kw. I have learned how to drive more conservative cruising, not speeding. Love it!
Excellent. This is the best vehicle I have owned.
You are very right.
I have a lariat I got in July. 5000 miles on mine.
Best vehicle I have ever owned.
First EV also.

Wow. No, I have not had any problems and now have 11,000 miles on mine. Let us know what happens with yours.

Android Auto works wirelessly on my new Lightning. Glitchy a couple times and you have to reset the Bluetooth, but overall works very well.

We'll definitely be watching to see if these could be million mile vehicles as Elon surmised.

Roads are sloped to remove water as quickly as possible, so all vehicles pull to the right.
When I am on a flat road it goes perfectly straight. No pull either way.
