Thank you for this. I just lost both my Mom and her sister (my aunt)within a 1 week period, and to say I’ve been in a funk is putting it mildly. What’s motivating me to get somewhat back on track is my Mom was such a good home keeper and would not want me to wallow in the mess and clutter that have piled up. She absolutely loved decorating for the seasons, and I still have my Valentines decor up! Anyways, thank you for this bit of motivation. I’m still working through the grief, but I may as well make my surroundings as comfortable as possible to do so. It’s also helpful that there’s a bit of sunshine here where I live in the States, so getting out for a walk has been cathartic too. 💗
Many people know how you feel. Same thing happened to me as I list my dad then sister. But feel grateful that we have such a great community here that support all of us🤗
Kay I hope your dad is ok. It’s always a worry looking after parents. Thank you so much for keeping your videos real. It is much needed in this confusing world and you are helping so many people including me ❤
Awww that's lovely.... sharing your day...and also when choosing roses squeeze the head of the rose a little...if the bud is hard it's fresher ....last longer again x
Hello from Toronto Canada! It was so good to open UA-cam and see this video. Just what I needed. I fell off track and just getting back on. Going back to the gym, signed up a few days ago and starting tomorrow. Have been eating foods that are good for me and makes me feel good. You have inspired me to clean out my fridge today. I do fall off track every once in a while and this reminds me that we are human and we will mess up sometimes. I will now forgive myself and keep going. It is so easy to listen to you with you calming voice no matter what you're talking about. Great videos! Thank you Kay!!!
Kay, this was an inspiring video. We just got back from vacation and I need a life reset day! Be gentle with yourself, it sounds like you’ve had a lot going on with caring for your Dad. Remember to take some time for yourself.❤ Praying he has continued good health.
Popped to Morrisons yesterday for cakes for mum. Could not believe the prices. £2 for six small apple pies. £2-75 for 8 French fancies. Hubby prefers Asda now to Lidl. They've got the cashback reward app and he's upto £24! Lovely vlog Kay XxX
I'm going through the same thing you're going through not having my normal routines and days! We moved house and still getting things set up but not in a normal pattern! One of the biggest stress is from me is when I don't meal plan! Thank you this is helping to get me motivated for my own reset!
Love your videos so thanks for sharing. It's lovely to see what you do on a typical day and how much you get done too. Want to wish you all a very lovely Easter and hope you have a good break and lots of chocolate of course.
Great video, got off sofa and cleaned the house you are a calm lady taking everything in your stride thankyou for sharing video I also feel better now house is all done hope you and your family are keeping well
Thank you for this video kay always look faward to watching them I always buy fresh flowers every week thay make me so happy when feeling a bit down take care see you soon x
❤Thanks for always sharing wonderful content!! You’ve encouraged me to do a reset 😊 Hoping this finds your Dad doing well, bless him! Sending love & hugs to you and the boys sweet Kay!! 🥰🙏🏻❤️❌⭕️🤗🙋🏻♀️
Thank You for your inspiring video , It shows that no matter where we live in the world we can relate to one another , our climates may be different , but trying to keep our households in order is something we all have in common .
I am proud to have brought my Christmas garland in finally from outside. It has been dreadly awful of snow, rain & sleet in Northern Michigan (USA). The time it was in between melting & not, we were 4 hrs South visiting our kids..but knee high snow. I was not willing to wade through. Thanks for the reset video share Kay. I know how you feel when everything is done & ready to go for the week ahead. Have a great week everyone.
Thank you for that lovely video, Kay! It really inspired me to get my life back together as I also have completely falling out of my routine recently. Also, thank you for the amazing music you always put in your videos! My playlists get longer and longer each week because of that 😊
It always blows me away how much cheaper things seem to be in the UK. I live in a pretty cheap part of the US and that food would have been WAY more here, even at the cheap stores. The price on the flowers really amazes me as similar ones here would be at least $15 per bunch or $30 for the 2 bunches. Maaaaybe $10 each if you caught a good sale. It does explain why most people I know here only buy flowers for special occasions (if then) whereas a lot of people I know personally or see online in the UK seem to buy them regularly. I'd have flowers all the time if they were $3 (which is what google says 2.50 equates to).
This was good for the soul 😊 I am joining you in a reset post surgery . Full of motivation. I love that armchair in your lounge , is it comfy and where is it from ? Trying to set a little corner in our lounge with 2 armchairs and a little table , allowing us to read , meditate etc ❤
Can’t wait to see what summer brings! We are in the U.S. and can’t plant any seeds just yet for fear that we will still get another frost. Meal prepping is always a game changer. Foods can spoil often in warmer weather (fruit and even bread - hamburger buns in particular for us) and when you have a family it’s a luxury to take a meal out of the freezer and just pop it in the oven because by the end of the day you’re just exhausted (at least that’s how I feel with my family). I only have one kiddo and the hubby left in the home- my older children have left the nest and moved into their own places but prepping still helps. A good tidy up makes my home feel so much nicer too. I enjoyed the trip to the store 😊 Hoping that you are both doing well.
Awesome video Kay! it always feels so great to get back on track with routines and other important things. This video inspired me so much, Echo and Rory are beautiful cats. I've just got a 5month old ragdoll, and she loves going outdoors, I've seen in previous videos that you use a harness for your cats,do you know where I can get one? Or something similar? Wishing you lots of luck❤
I have the same problem as you Kay, I don't really have a weekly routine so I can't decide which day is best to do a food shop. Life feels like chaos sometimes. 😂
Hi Kay. Ordered the Purdy & Figg kitchen products. They were delivered Friday but I’m in the process of getting a new kitchen and the granite tops and counter is going in tomorrow. Really excited to clean everything down with this product before I start trying to put everything away! Wish me luck!!!
Have you tried the thin cloth covered hangers? I changed whole wardrobe to them and there's so much more room. I feel as if I can see my clothes properly now. Also did a clear out as I was changing them. - Frances
just a quick question. I've seen that people in England keep the butter in a nice ceramic dish ON the kitchen worktop. Not in fridge. If I did that here (Argentina), it would melt down in a matter of minutes, and it would go bad, and I don't mean in summer. How or why do people over there not put it in the fridge, like the milk and cheese? I'm intrigued.
I was wondering if you are concerned about slipping on the stairs without a handrail? I wish we could get flowers in the supermarket like in the UK. Ours are super expensive and never very fresh. Lovely video thanks.
Thank you for reset days. I really needed that lol. You are so right every time i go shopping it is so much more expensive. Like for instance catsan litter used to be £12 now £17 small one £6 now £9 rediculous, thats my rant lol. Can i ask what kind of harness you use for your beautiful cats. And what age you started to use it. Thank you in advance. Loved this vlog Kay thank you Xxx❤
I have a question for peeps, how do you prevent your garlic/onion granules from going solid? I have this problem whenever I buy the jars and they get about a 3rd of the way down. I store mine in the kitchen cupboard.
Unfortunately its the moisture, you could store in an air tight container or add some grains of rice in your spice jar. Like they do in some cafes with their salt. Worth a try or just use a knife like I do to unclump it.
Wonderful video. I definitely need a reset. I need to get back to watching my eating. And my fitness in general. Since today is the start of Holy Week , there is no better time to start. Have a great week. ❤

Thank you so much for this video as I really need to clean my fridge today. You have given me the motivation to get it done!
I’m glad I’m retired and no longer have to stick to a routine! It feels wonderful to just do what I want to do in the moment!!❤❤❤❤
Im so happy to hear that for you. 😊

Lovely reset. I know, it’s amazing how much you can spend on food and takeaways without a plan!
Thank You for your inspiring video , It shows that no matter where we live in the world we can relate to one another , our climates may be different , but trying to keep our households in order is something we all have in common .
Your skin is lovely and you are correct about allowing your skin to breathe. Your videos are always enjoyable. Wishing you a happy Easter!

The music is wonderful ❤
Love rainy days. We usually don’t get a lot of them here in California, but we have had quite a few of them this year.🥰

Lovely video - pop a 2p in your vases with tulips and roses and they stand straight x
Great to see a life reset vlog. Think the resets are my fave. V calming and motivational. Hope your dad is doing OK xxx
Full of motivation as always Kay. A lot of my herbs have died too due to the cold, and it's still not too warm! Have a lovely week xx
Very motivating - thanks Kay, have a great week ❤

Hi Kay 👋
It’s just what I needed thank you so much for sharing. Have a good week take care Louise X
I have the same problem as you Kay, I don't really have a weekly routine so I can't decide which day is best to do a food shop. Life feels like chaos sometimes. 😂
For drying bedding I recommend hanging in the bathroom & using a space heater.

Thank you Kay. Please may I ask where you purchased your floor lamp from?
If you put a tiny drop of bleach or a teaspoon of sugar your beautiful flowers will last longer.
Great video! Really calming ❤
Hi Kay, thanks for a great video. Just reading your book! 💖

Thank you for another wonderful video Kay! Do you mind if I ask you where you bought your cream armchair under the TV? Thank you so much!
Make a list Kay xxx
Well done.. 🌸✅

@@cherylverber7672 thank you 🙂 I currently use a knife to.
*question about your drying rack* Why do you cover your clothes with that tent thing? How do they get good air circulation to dry well?
It's a heated dry soon airer. The cover is supposed to aid drying x
Good afternoon sweet lady just a suggestion but tomatoes taste better if you don't refrigerator them
I have school but same
I find store bought herbs don't live as long or well as ones from a garden centre.
💗
I’m gluten and cows dairy free
