Glad to see you pop up in my inbox again. I did get my ukulele out of the closet and restarted playing only two days ago, so your video had excellent timing 😁

You are such a good ,patient teacher, love your calming voice.❤ I saw one video of your from 11 years ago wow😮 and it’s helping me ,as an adult that never played an instrument and don’t know nothing about music,, I feel like I can go to my own rhythm that’s why I appreciate your patience. I hope to make some progress and that my Ukulele teacher notice that 😊

Brilliant! Concise, direct, memorable. Smooth chord changes has kept me playing C and A chords; I will implement Hovering immediately--together with using a metronome, and more focus on strumming. Thanks, Brett!

You’re right Brett. Last year I promised myself to re-start playing my ukulele and I was always going to start tomorrow but tomorrow never came! But this year I did start and I’ve been playing every day following your Strumming Course again - and enjoying it! Thanks for your encouragement and your useful hints and tips 😊

So nice to get notification of a video from you! I'm really lagging in my learning because I've been trying to find the perfect ukulele, which I think I now have. But I haven't forgotten about my intention of learning from you. I need to check out your website again.

Hi uke tricks, I have a problem with my G chord. Whenever I play it, the A string is not ringing properly, let me give you an example: “Pling, Pling, Pling, Tkk.” I think it’s because my ring finger on the 3rd fret of the G string is going to the 3rd fret of the A string. Tell me how I can fix this problem please😅

I think I'm gonna try a Uke. I found the Horse Ukulele on Amazon, $70 CAD for a tenor with all mahogany construction, excellent build quality, and fantastic sound that with good care will last a lifetime. I think I'm actually going to get both a tenor and a 30" because both will only amount to $200 and will give me a very nice breadth of sounds to play with. I heard one vid where a guy showed them all and the 30" sounded nearly like an acoustic guitar, just magnificent. I've always thought the Ukulele was a fun, underappreciated instrument anyway.

Hoi, which video of yours teaches how you effortlessly strum upwards with index finger? As when i try, i almost have the finger get "stuck" in a string and pull it like a bow before that accidental "hard strumming" releases one loud note :P
