The entire AZ-900 series videos are really amazing. Adam did a great job on composing them, not only just pass the exam, but also providing the fundamentals of Azure Cloud computing platform. I do not know the technology behind the visual presentation of diagrams, these are so crisp and vivid, to me he is whiteboarding in front of me. Thank you very much Adam for giving us this professional stuff for free.
I have tried a few courses and a few different people Adam you are by far the best. Good depth on a topic and the graphics helps to digest the mass of information. Inshallah I pass my exam on Monday!
As an open-source developer first, I'd never heard of either shell before. But, it turns out PowerShell is a shell used outside of Azure, in the larger Microsoft ecosystem. I hope this helps someone else trying to learn!
U have explained very well. Nice presentation, u explained to the point, and covered all syllabus. Are you planning to create video for Az204, if yes when you will be start to publish

Hi Adam, When creating a VM in 7:08 just wondering why there is no storage account is mentioned? Appreciate if you could clarify. I was under the assumption that a VM needs a storage account. The command shown is referring to a logical group 'Resource Group' Thanks in advance.
Hi Adam, Thanks for your great work. I am Windows guy. Please confirm if my below understanding is correct. Local machine + Windows Power Shell Terminal + Azure Power Shell scripts => Azure Power Shell Local machine + Windows Power Shell Terminal + Azure CLI module => Azure CLI Can I use Windows Command Prompt instead of Power Shell in above both cases? Cloud Shell is having Bash and Power Shell options, so does it mean? Azure Power Shell = Azure Cloud Shell (Power shell) Azure CLI = Azure Cloud Shell (Bash) Also will all commands be same for Windows, Linux and macOS? Thanks Paresh
Thanks. I think you might be mistaking tools (Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell modules) with scripting environments (command terminal, bash, powershell, etc.). Azure CLI can be used in command terminal, powershell, bash on linux, terminal on macos. Azure PowerShell modules can be used on powershell (windows) or powershell core (linux, macos). Cloud Shell is just a hosting environment for either Ubuntu Linux Bash with Azure CLI installed or Ubuntu Linux PowerShell Core with Azure PowerShell Modules installed.
@@AdamMarczakYT Thanks Adam. I got this question in AZ-900 so what will be the correct answer: An Azure administrator plans to run a PowerShell script that creates Azure resources. You need to recommend which computer configuration to use to run the script. Solution: Run the script from a computer that runs Chrome OS and uses Azure Cloud Shell. Does this meet the goal? Yes or No. I think from Chrome OS we can open the browser and from browser we can use Azure Portal which is having Cloud Shell. So think answer should be Yes. Is it correct?
Hi Adam, We use terraform to create resources on Azure. Now for orchestration of newly built servers like features/client based apps installation which tool should we use? Ansible or Powershell DSC. Please suggest.
Hey, you should plan your technology based on your company strategy, can't advise you with that. Maybe choose the service/tools that you have existing skillsets.
I tried to have a Browser shell.azure.com shell access and it required a small cost to use it as this tool need a space on the Azure storage to have it enabled . How many Megabytes or Gbps it takes from azure ? so that I can track my costs
I never seen it go above 1 cent. It's just price for storing data on remote drive. That drive is 5GB max by default so minimal cost considering Azure File Storage pricing. You can view the cost in Cost Analysis tab on your resource group. How is your az-900 in Portuguese tutorial going. Are you preparing your own materials, your own powerpoints, videos? How it's going, it's a lot of work :)
Hi Adam Is there anyway to restrict access to azure ui portal. I want to initiate developer should work with visual studio or vscode. They should deploy from local tools
Azure Cloud Shell is free but persistent storage isn't. You are correct. Although storage is very cheap so typically you won't. 5GB costs 0.10 $ monthly but you shouldn't need that much.
CLI = command line interface, Bash is a language for command line on Unix/Linux. On windows command line is Terminal and it uses Batch language. Azure CLI is just set of libraries for command line.
Hi Adam, after going though your videos, practice tests and Microsoft learning i have passed my AZ900 with a 820 score. Thank you very much.
Nice work! Congrats, keep it up :)
On this path right now. This seems intense but it's very encouraging to read that. Congratulations Az-900 into AZ-104 for me this year.

Microsoft Documentation feature is like an interactive tutorial that allows you to see examples, copy sentences or try out functions?
Yep! :) But you need to have your own Azure subscription, otherwise maybe try Microsoft Learn which provides sandbox environments.
Hey Adam, question number 8, though you have asked to select two options, we are able to select only 1. It's not a multi-select-based question.

PowerPoint :) No external tools are used.
