Azure Active Directory is now called "Entra ID"
Just to those who watch it recently - AAD is now called Entra ID - weird, I know.
In part because it doesn't use the same structures as MS AD (on-prem) - I suspect that was tripping some people up. Different "thing", different name. Also because they want to highlight the fact that it can be used as a general authentication solution - not just something to access MS services.

Hi Adam, Thanks for the detail video. I have one question for Azure AD Identity and it password policy, does cloud Identity also has password expiry? If so, would cloud Identity be able to log in Azure portal post password expiry? What is default password policy in Azure AD?

Thanks! I love working with Azure so eventually I'd like to have all services covered. To be honest Azure AD B2C is not high on my priority list but eventually I'd like to cover it as well.

Pretty much. They are almost a synonyms, in most docs they are used interchangeably.

Your course was a huge help, Adam. But I was caught a bit off-guard when I took the AZ-900. None of the UA-cam courses I watched, or the book I read, adequately prepared me for the level of detail they wanted in some areas. This episode is one that I think needs more technical detail. To other viewers, you definitely need to supplement your learning with a detailed review of Microsoft's Azure AD documentation and also Adam's additional Azure AD videos.
Other topics you recommend delving into deeper?
@@fisherlatham8776 Probably outdated by now but IIRC Azure AD and networking were covered more than what was in Adam's videos. They also surprisingly asked about some obsolete topics that had been removed from the checklist or even removed/replaced/renamed from Azure. I wouldn't have known these without having studied older material and old practice tests. When I saw some of those on the practice tests, I thought nah, that's old, they won't ask about it. I was glad later that I researched those topics anyway.

Hi, great series on AZ-900. How often to you uload new content (26-47 are a lot of missing content :) )
Amount wise there is a lot missing. Content wise I'm already at around 65% content covered so only 35% to go. :) This week I plan to release 3-5 videos depending on my ability, I was sick so I'm not sure if I can release all I wanted.

Authorization to access Azure Resources can be provided only to Azure Active Directory users? Yes or No
If No then what are other options?
No. Some Azure services additionally allow for other authentication/authorization methods.

can you describe single sign on ?
Single sign-on (in short SSO) is an authentication process where multiple systems/services (usually independent services) allow users to sign-on to them using the same username/password (credentials). Azure AD is perfect example of SSO system where users can sign in to Portal Azure using the same account as to SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure SQL, etc. etc.

In exam: Identity can mean: User, Application, Server (Group here is a wrong choice)
Could anyone please explain?
Cheat sheet talks about identity management features, not what identity is. Check 1:09 to see what identity is. Group is a collection of identities not an identity itself. But it is used for identity management.
