Hare Krishna! I am vegan and an aspiring devotee. I abstain from milk products due to the cruelty and death behind them. At this point my body is intolerant to even ahimsa milk. I don't see how this makes me less as of a devotee or weakens my faith. Yes Krishna was a cowherd boy and ate lots of milk products but He also had thousands of wives and did other things I don't think I have to imitate. I can still have a loving relationship with Krishna and his devotees without milk products. I respect devotees who keep to ahimsa milk only and welcome a world where that's the only products our temples use as well. I appreciate if temples offered vegan and ahimsa milk prasadam. 😊💕🙏
Hare Krsna, I’m learning so much from your UA-cam Prabhu. Please accept my humble obedience’s 🙏 I found out about your channel from your interview on W.O.S. My question is where can I learn more about the negative effects the Brahmanic culture had on Indians in India that made them turned off by Brahmans and decide to be more like westerners. I’ve heard a little about the cast system having issues and I learned through Srila Prabhupada’s teachings that one is not born Brahman but must become Brahman through practicing Krishna Consciousness. I am still very new to these teachings so please accept my apology for any offenses I may have made speaking on something I know very little about. Hare Krishna Prabhu 🙏

Abstaining cow milk results in zero pain to the cow. But, animal like cow can mutually exchange love with a human consequently gives more milk out of love and it is higher practice than just abstaining. This may sound weird but practically one can see if he is serving her like a mother not just like a milk factory. The wrong practices are prevalent but devotees of Lord following process perfectly can observe it. One should not generalized a fact based upon only majority trends. These practices can be encouraged. -- specifically I wrote in view of cow only.

@@prashantp495 By ahimsa milk, I don't mean anything coming from dairies. I am aware of the exploitation.
