Thank you very much for your helpful, informative, and educational information. Obviously, you care, certified to me by your cleaning of tools before else, as my dad taught me. Regards and respect.
Helpful video, thank you. Few observations- the grease seemed a bit too thick for nlgi ratings. Also, i'd liked to have heard it run before and after to hear the gears quieted down. This was Helpful! Thank you 😊
We use a mixture of 75w-140 full synthetic gear lube and stiffen it with nlgi-2 non wheel bearing grease...in any automotive differential they all use gear lube this is so the bearings get lube also the hypoid additive is a High Pressure and anti wear additive and helps the lube stick to the Gear..., grease on it's own only turn to a liquid if the temp gets high enough, the bearings will turn to dust Bf the grease would ever lube them ....
Good question Dave, I was just cleaning up and putting fresh grease around the gear. When I go back up to the Northwest I will show how to pull the bearing and re-grease. I will be heading up to the Pacific Northwest in May. I will do a follow up video. Thanks
@@JoediyLab i watched whole video, but i didn’t catch that you mentioned milwaukee grinder when explaining nlgi-0 grease. I watched again and u mention it 7:00. My English is not perfect so it would be more useful for non-English speakers just to write it down 😃 Anyway, thanks!
Hey there Mr. Perfect, some people get nervous while filming. This guy took the time to share his knowledge without concern for public speaking skills. If you find this hard to listen to you might consider a good book on listening skills. Until then, hop off your high horse and go repair your damn grinder.

Thanks, I should have done a comparison of before and after. The grease container indicated nlgi, was purchased from Amazon.
You explained everything very well sir.
Thanks
I have a 10 year old Porter Cable grinder, I've never used anything but valvaline wheel bearing grease in it, still runs like a new one!
Thanks for your personal experience.

@@efektmurowany Sorry, did not realize your first language was not English. Yes NLGI-0. Do not use wheel bearing grease
@@JoediyLab sure! I was wondering between nlgi 0 & 1, but I ordered full set of new gaskets and decided it to be nlgi-0
Please exercise, you are going to lose your breath just explaining…hard to listen to

I'm pretty sure that's because he isn't using pop filter.
