Typically the reason people suck at putting motors together is lack of patience and lack of proper tools. The information you need is everywhere to do it yourself

What does the afr look like? Glowing cats typically mean the car running rich which would also explain the low idle.
It means lean less fuel is a hotter burn they need to add more fuel too it
The ECM may be detecting a lean condition, adding excess fuel (rich), which then makes its way into the cat, burning there. Retarded timing only exacerbates the issue. Either way, that car needs a tune ASAP... cats don't last long in that scenario.

Man i Love this channel. Just wanna tell yall something. I have the same belief in save the manuals as gavin does. I had a ford ranger for almost a year and almost had it paid off. I was driving home from fishing and i went off the road and over corrected. Flipped the ranger to where i should have been dead. I want to get another manual but the truck that i got now is really too much for me to get another truck. But i come back to this channel just to see yall drive manual vehicles and remember how much fun it was.

The issue with the cats glowing is because the car now has lower intake vacuum at idle, so when it's idling, it's bouncing in and out of accel fueling. If you need someone to tune it, let me know and I'll hook you up with my guy.

10w40 mobil one turbo diesel blend will clear up the lifter noise and help with oil pressure.

Al Melling of TVR fame was asked to design 4 valve heads for the viper back in the day.. But they went for 2 valve to save cash apparently. When you see what the 4.5 TVR Cerbera is capable of - the viper could have been a real animal.

Its just a common lifter clatter that the Voodoo engines always do at startup, its not a problem
I recognized the roof, the headlights and that engine bay also the rear fenders from the thumbnail. If I could have any car I wanted, it would be a 10' ACR Dodge Viper. Wanted one ever since that model came out.
