I love the Texas 200 videos, I live in the interior of Brazil, in the summer in December I go to the coast to learn how to sail and in the future, through a simple project, I will build my small sailboat.
Ahhh, make me think of the Triston Jones Book about sailing up the Amazon. The trick to sailing is to not over think it. Thanks for the shout and when you build your boat let me know.
Thank God you like film making, I could see how it would be easier to do the run without the cam gear. This footage is gold! That whole opening scene, that pass by Gros Bec during the beer hand off, the dunes all of it!
I love video editing. I sometimes edit up videos with no intentions of posting them just for fun. I use to rig a fancy microphone behind the windshield and power cords to the cams etc but have since scaled down. I like the less intensive set up although editing out the wind noise is an issue I'm getting better at.
That looks like a great day to be above ground! Do those ramps stay on when you narrow up the ama's for trailering? I love your sleeping setup on the ramps too. Does it ever get too rocky and rolly? Thanks for another great glimpse into some life goals!
they originally hinge down in half but the hinges froze up from salt so I rigged it so the outboard platforms lift off and store inside the boat. I did a video on the original build.
I was lucky enough to spend 63 days on the big Baffin Bay which is between Canada and Greenland 75° of latitude. We left when ice started collecting on the ship. No dunes though but many many icebergs. The 200 is on my bucket list.

@@ZiggyLavengood You do a phenomenal job of capturing all of the beauty and essence of this place and the adventure.
Get videos as always brother, keep on sailing!
Thanks, Zig
Hey Zig, have you ever done an inventory of the items you feel essential for this trek? Besides a can opener. We got that.
I did a video last yr of what I carry in my emergency bag. A video of the expedition essentials is a good idea.
Beautiful weather!
It was a beautiful day.
Thanks ! Congratulations Ziggy!
Thank you, Zig
This is way cool, glad I found you!
Me too! Welcome aboard, Zig
Bringing Beer Handoffs to a fine art!

Sounds awesome. Ice is not a problem on this Baffin bay, hehe
