Awesome build! You have set a fire under me to get my 72 Mach1 done. My father was the original owner and now I have it. It has a 351 CJ 4v with a 4spd. It's all original. My father passed this year and I kind of stepped back from the car. Thanks for the video. Now I'm motivated to get her finished
What engine code is your Mach? It’s the fifth digit of your VIN. Sounds like you may have a 72 Q code, if you do, that a special Mustang.. get on it! My deepest heartfelt condolence to you and yours on your Fathers passing.
WOW! That was a 1st class resto job, 100% original too! I notice you resisted the temptation to put a 4-barrel and Magnum 500's on it. Nice work and thank you for saving this car and leaving as Ford intended.
Seeing this restortion means a lot to me personally as I used to own a 1972 Mach 1 Mustang. It was the same color as this car, black interior, 302 2V, automatic...it came with the dog dish hubcaps/trim rings, Firestone Wide Oval tires, a plain hood which I replaced with the NASA hood, I installed front and rear spoilers on it, I put Appliance Steel Spoke wheels with BFG Radial TA tires on it, (FR60-15 front, LR50-15 rear)...unfortunately I don't have a picture of it it was my baby at the time. Only thing I hated about that car was the mail-slot rear window.
Amazing Well done First class A job Appreciate your hard work and time Thanks so much for sharing this awsome classic car video Kind regards Cheers HISHAM ELFIKI
I have a 72 Mustang that I've been tinkering around with for the last coup-le of months, Mine's a coupe and it's originally White with Dark Red interior, but like this one someone painted it Red sometime during it's life, I'm going to take it back down to bare metal but I'm not back white, I'm going to paint it Rose Quartz, which is an 87 only color and stay with the Dark Red Interior, I bought it as a Roller without an Engine or Trans so I gotta decided on what I'm going to do there but I'm thinking about finding a updated 302 after they switch over to EFI and maybe a throttle body with a 5 speed auto Trans, I wanna go newer but not BRAND NEW.
I once had a 1972 Mustang Mach I like this, except it was fire engine red, with a 351 Cleveland engine. Ordered it from the factory to get it just the way we wanted it. Absolutely loved that car but eventually had to let it go when starting the family.
I have a red 72 mustang mach 1 351 Cleveland as well that i wanna restore pretty soon do you mind letting me know how much roughly would it cost to do it if you don’t mind

INCREDIBLE JOB!!!! Beautiful Mustang!!!!!
Super nice job.
It takes a lot of self control not to embelish things along the way.
AWESOME!
Good video, and a lovely car. Did the spring towers come with the indents from the factory, as for a big block?.

Excellent.....
Just wondering, did you ever get a fan shroud for that car or the other three hub caps and 3inch rings?

Me gusta el color!
beautiful car!!, but, it at least deserved dual exhaust!!!!
harleyguyinmilw it looked like they put in a 2 barrel carb also.
WOW !!!!!!!!!!
not bad, why after all this work, do you have the wrong gas cap? What is that weird blue stripe between the hood and fender?
and why go with an automatic?
@@billhinkle1653 Mustangs were never in stick in 72 besides the c4 trans one of the most reliable for classics
Grabber green or Grabber lime?
Adjust the spoiler correctly!!!!
