4:35 "I'm a barbie girl in a barbie world. life in plastic its fantastic." This is a seriously cool invention. I've had moments writing songs where this in the percussive sound I'm hearing in my head but couldn't quite get out. I can't believe I didn't think of it myself. Impart piano goodness into a guitar.
I think it sounds amazing, and the design can improve even further by making 2 hammers per string, instead of one (think like a double kick pedal). This way the soloing would become as fast as a plectrum.
Can you mute a string by holding down the hammer? Haven't seen this done yet. Curious how this might work using a slide which does require some muting.
You make it sound brittle. Maybe a redesign with better adjustability is required. Something stronger than plastic, like fibreglass like in fishing rods or even bamboo, thin steel would be better and a screw pivot like some of the designs used in bass drum pedal triggers. Maybe a steel spring style with a rotating adjustment
What are the postage rates to the UK? Why not import and distribute directly in the EU? Or manufacture in the EU? That will help prevent the large import duties and transport costs.
Does it work for any common Superstrat? Floyd Rose systems? Whammy Bar usage still possible? Can it be taken off your instrument quite fast and easily for playing conventionally? Despite those important questions this seems very interesting.
It might be kind of gimmicky, but I think that this may help people that have specific disabilities and have lost some of the fine motor control in their picking fingers, but still want to fingerpick.
Yeah, nice Idea and all. Im quite curious how it would fit my playing Style, but im not paying around 80 Bucks for a Piece of Plastic, Shipping not even included. But Still.... This Thing is interesting ^^ Greetings from Germany
Oh man why oh why did you have this made of plastic. Was very interested until I want he'd this video showing how to adjust the arms. What a shame. Don't be overly aggressive ???? Oy. I really hope you come up with a new design. Very cool though. Thanks
I have an electric guitar (Yamaha Pacific) and can't put it on as the pick-ups are too wide. The designer should have considered that, rather then having to cut a piece of wood.......! Didn't find any help on UA-cam as most players are more interested in showing off their awesome talents.

Be interesting to see this on a Fender Bass VI style bass
Pair one of these with one or two spider capos for a unique sound

triplet rhythms on this, yum!
Funciona con el principio de los macillos del piano.
does this make playing the guitar easier?
Will it work when my action is raised for playing slide (like a lap steel?)
That is awesome
Do you make this for mandolin?
curious invention but has its limitations.

Question. Will I be able to play normal guitar after attaching the hammer jammer?
yes, you just take off the board with the hammers and play. Or you can unmount it entirely real quick too.
This is cool..

this looks great as my finger picking sucks to the max
It sounds like a Russian balalaika.
I like the concept, but 70$ in this material is just absurd. I'd buy for 30$ in max.
for people who can pluck a string
