Aging, Fading Signs Replaced at NASA Armstrong

Sizzling summer sunshine and year around blowing winds have weathered and faded gate, substation, and building signs, as well as the NASA logos on the facilities at NASA Armstrong. A project started in September to replace the nearly 300 signs, including some additional signs needed to better identify buildings.

Do the dismissed signs get auctioned off, are they given to worthy employees that might want them or are they left for the maintenance crew to deal with?
