Hey. Your video just popped up, I just re did the steering wheel on my 62 Comet. Mine was too far gone, I simply painted it. Painted the steel.
I also have a small automotive channel, just subbed. Cheers.

Try the epoxy putty stuff to fill in large gaps??

Jb quick steel would probably have worked really well instead of the plastic weld. 👍🏼
