    The sight and sound of a series Landrover burbling through a dramatic landscape is pure bliss.

    Tasmania is a beautiful state. I loved my visit there a year ago driving around that brilliantly beautiful landscape! Sadly I didn’t have access to an old Landy.

    World class cinematography, great story line what more needs to be said except when are you coming up to North Queensland? Can show you some truly amazing locations with a bit of the history to go with it . All off the beaten track of course.

    Hi Geoff and Damon . What is the best way to defrost the landy windscreen on a cold morning?

    • @seriouslyseriesaustralia
      @seriouslyseriesaustralia  5 років тому +1

      No easy answer to this question, other than keep a clean rag handy.

    • @jdenmark1287
      @jdenmark1287 5 років тому +1

      breathe really hard on it, works way better than the demister if you are fall of hot air like me.

      and you might want to check out Rovers North, in Vermont USA as they use to sell an electric heated windscreen.

    What kit do you have from iCom?

    • @seriouslyseriesaustralia
      @seriouslyseriesaustralia  5 років тому +1

      Hi Lawn TractorBoy
      We use a number of ICOM products, for our Tasmania based adventures we have been using the IC41 handheld UHF and in our WA products, we use the IC-450 (UHF), IC-760/F8101 (HF) and IC41. Their products are well worth checking out at www.icom.net.au/
      Regards Geoff

      @@seriouslyseriesaustralia i mean what are they like durability wise as fitted in a series with damp and vibrations. Im looking at there HAM gear mostly to fit into my 110 puma and 1970 2a 88.

    • @seriouslyseriesaustralia
      @seriouslyseriesaustralia  5 років тому +1

      @@atahservices2840 Well now you put it like that, they are tough and durable and that is why we choose ICOM. The radios I mentioned earlier are tested to USA military standards. The equipment has held up well over the past two years we have been using them in some of the toughest environments in Australia. I would suggest watching our review on the IC41and our walk around video of the Series 3. Regards Geoff
