  • I know, I know, I know.. just pirate anime.. but listen a lot of us aren't smart enough to figure that out and also i LOVE anime and don't mind supporting it at all. Crunchyroll DOINATES the anime streaming industry and that is problematic. I love Crunchyroll but having a monopoly isn't good. Hulu and Netflix have been doing an amazing job adding more anime to their libraries and making it more accessible to watch it. I think the more options we have for streaming services the better so I thought I'd show everyone what Hulu has been up to and give them praise for the great work they've been doing. I hope you're having a fantastic day and le me know your favorite anime in the comment section!!

I refuse to use hulu. Tried watching heavenly delusional and the subtitles were out of sync.

It don't think Hulu or Disney Plus could ever take over crunchyroll. Look at all the shows listed here. Summertime rendering in specific. They could have been hard hitters and really popular but their popularity was essentially halfed if not completely destroyed by them being put on Hulu/Disney Plus.

I completely agree! I think these originals would've been way more popular on crunchyroll but the same could be said about hidive originals too. Hidive has had some amazing originals that aren't nearly as popular because they're on hidive. Crunchroll being the "only" anime streaming service will only lead them to raising prices and not be as aggressive with adding anime. So many people are already just pirating anime instead. I think showing the potential hulu has and helping to show these originals can be super beneficial which is why I made the video. It's also why I was so glad to see hidive and hulu start to team up. Competition in the anime streaming space is exactly what anime viewers need. I think the more people see the potential hulu has and if they keep adding anime as aggressively as they are I could def see them competing with crunchyroll in the next couple of years
