I've told people with a years of writing experience it makes no sense to me that they just sit and write for days and months saying the play will reveal itself to them. I think more people do this than don't. I was beginning to think I was a very odd duck by believing it was waste of time not to get these hard, thoughtful questions addressed at the top. Maybe I'm not as far behind as I sometimes feel.
