That's exactly what I thought too! His "art" is exceptional but to hear the love when he talks about how he constructs these putters, and how thrilled he is when they win is extraordinary!!!!

I own an 009 and play it and love it. Truly the Rolex of golf putters. Mines carbon 3x black. It’s feel and weight is perfect. Even if a stray from it I always return. My best putting rounds have been with it.

Scotty I saw it. You are waring a 1655. Good choice. Look out if you send it to the service center in New York. Don't let them replace anything, hands, dial, bracelet. Mine only goes to NY for service. Definitely don't trust anyone else to service your rolex.

@@mathewpanikar2051 i'll just never understand it. even if they became more premiumly priced, selling mass-produced 009's would cripple brands like taylormade and odyssey to their knees. nobody in their right mind would want some toulon putter over a 009. and consumers would only benefit.
@@domenicdemski1436 The 009 is so desirable BECAUSE its unavailable. You mass produce them, they'll sell big for 1-2 years, then people will dump them and fawn over more exclusive putters when everybody has one. Supply and Demand, I''m afraid.

All modern blade putter is a replica of Karsten Solheim's 1966's putter, including scotty's products. This 009 model is nothing but a rehashed Newport. This is marketing and the zip code reference was odd. He should pay homage to the original creator!
Scotty does not have one ounce of creativity in his body. He just copies others and has the weight of Titleist behind him.
@@John_Wood_ exactly and he has laughed all the way to the bank from it..amazes me how anything with his name is so desirable..if his name was on toilet paper you would go to 10 different stores to find sum cause it would all be sold out..the putters are like nothing else and im proud to own 2 of them and would never use anything else

Except for that doesn't happen. Golf courses get plowed and then apartment complexes get put in. Golf courses are nature, better off than more concrete and parking lots
