What I like about these old-time radio shows is the immense creativity they display. Because they were very cheap to produce, not requiring sets, location shoots, or complex and expensive practical or CGI special effects like TV or movies, the sky's the limit in terms of plots, characters, settings, etc.
I had no idea these were available on UA-cam. I've suffered withdrawal since my local station decided that many of them were too politically incorrect to broadcast now. But I'm 78 and am used to tuning that part off. They are sooooo good.
I dig this Johnny dollar shows so much pleasure late at night that I went out and bought a Stetson fedora which I am mansion Peg Shawnee dollar War I guess so much pleasure out of listening to these episodes
