They're...oily? That caught me off guard! Also, seems like American Foam got a lemon Ranger, yours seems to function with FPS more comparable to the Elite standard so that's nice. Still, I'll be sticking with my Buzzbee Snipe as my bolt action sniper of choice!
Yeah, grease is used to ensure smooth functioning of the internals... but this case they used too much. Some blasters have grease leaking out of handle, priming handle parts, etc. It's not harmful but just very annoying

It really confuses me who these are made for, most kids who watch Ryan are literally too small to hold the blasters, especially the bigger ones. The high FPS also don’t help much. I don’t even think any people who would be able to hold the blasters would care about Ryan.
Its to profit off of an otherwise unobtainable market. Same reason R-rated action films get kids toys sometimes.

@@hollowsteel Oh it definitely is, just the amount of extra profit they'll wring from this is projected to be worth the cost, or else they wouldn't have done it. Some of these I could see the appeal for the casing shape, and just covering up the original paint and logo, but even that doesn't really explain releasing this in a good way

Not gonna lie I wished the toy gun industry could take notes with the packaging. The sniper one got me sold and I’ll probably buy they. Problem is I do not like the gun itself and the colors and I’m not 6 so only time can tell if toy gun industry catches up for people with this niche
That beefy aesthetics really work for me, plastic looks like that really cheap toy plastic one, how solid is the shells, buzzbee molasses or Rival hardtack?
I think these would be compatable with nerf darts and the magazines with nerf blasters and the scope with nerf rails? Probably yes but I can just imagine a stryfe with this ridicioulus scope 😂

Yknow the renegade looks wayy more than the X shot fortress blaster than it does the turbo advance. Looking back it’s almost identical if it wasn’t for the renegade’s and all of the other ryan’s blaster design.
