Thanks Zeeshan ji to you and your family, and Baalwala team for your kind hospitality. Thanks to the owners of the house at Nisbet Road, Rizwan ji and Butt ji who allowed us back in once again and opened the rooms which were previously closed. We will always remember and be grateful for their kindness. Also we thank the evacuee trust board team and the gentleman ( who sadly lost his 15 year old son in late 1992 as described in the video ) who showed my father the old Brahmo samaj temple .

It's heartwarming to see the bond between a father and son, especially when there's mutual respect and admiration.

Ok
BaalWala Sir, Thank you for this unique memories. Ajitji's recollection of his childhood is impeccable. My parents came to India in 1947 from East Bengal (now Bangladesh). They never wanted to go back to relive their childhood. My mother just celebrated her 89th birthday, father passed away 28 years ago and would have been 97 years old. In 2018 my wife and I took both our US born children to India and visited our hometowns, they also got to visit our colleges where we received our advanced degrees. It is very necessary that our youth understand their parents roots to appreciate their challenged upbringing. KUDOS!
Nice. U have kept ur roots alive
Why didn't they return their roots? It's very easy to get Bangladesh visa than Pakistan for Indians
@@qazifahad4245 if u r talking about ajit babu then the reason may b probably their forefathers left bengal long time ago & they settled in undivided punjab
@@qazifahad4245 My parents experienced trauma during partition. My Maternal grandfather died leaving behind my grandmother and four young children. My paternal grandparents had to cross the mountain region to come to Assam. They did not have any motivation to re-visit their trauma irrespective of the visa issue.
@rajivdutta3585 That is horrible! What extreme taruma your maternal grandfathers must have felt throughout his life. May he rest in peace. My own maternal grandfather was very well settled in Shimla. Owned Metropole Hotel (now MLA Lodge), Metropole Steel Mill in Amritsar and Ghulam Mohammad & Sons Hydro-electrical Co. in Himachal Pradesh. Sanjoulie (suburd of Shimla) was were his estate was. Uprooted to steaming Lahore and the difference in culture and obtaining claim just ground him down. Died in 1952.Buried in Mominpura Graveyeard, Lhr.
Big fan ❤
You're doing much needed work; It's a balm and one feels great when Ajit hee like people revisit their homes and elders memories. Partition was shattering for everyone on all sides.
❤❤❤❤
Beyond Words
Ajit ji is quite a strong man emotionally as well...i would have cried like a hell
Ajit jee brings gravitas and exudes tremendous grace and determination in face of insurmountable tragedy.
Agreed
❤❤❤
Thank You Baalwala. If You come to Kolkata, would like to meet you
💝💝💝
great sharing
Great work
My father used to belong from Sindh (bairadi ) sometimes I used to see Tears in his eyes, because he used to miss his birthplace, his relatives, in pakistan, he used to say so many stories about Pakistan
Please update with subtitles 🙂↕️
Great job, great work for humanity.
Agr to ap ne mera comment dekh liya ap ne to sunnn lein best hogya ke ap ka channel mujy mil gya 😊
You all are doing a wonderful service by bringing Ajeet g to Lahore.
My eternal regret is not being able to take my father to Delhi and Simla. He and family migrated to Pakistan when he was 16 but never went back to Delhi and Simla. He longed to go back but it never happened. My sister and I grew up listening to his wonderful stories of Union Academy School, پرانی دلی , Mall Road of Simla, and other places. He has passed away now leaving regret for my sister and I.
Same.. my father also wants to visit Gurgaon
Sadly, we Indians lack Pakistani hospitality, we have become too materialistic.

He must be feeling so nostalgic reminiscing his yesteryears in Lahore. He resembles my father whom I lost last year so I feel really nice seeing him re-live his Lahore days visiting all the places. Even my father use to talk about his childhood, his friends, his teachers n school in the same way. Really like the vlogs. And most of all really liking the Lahoris who are welcoming him with so much of warmth. Seeing people hold his hands to walk him around is so heart warming...... A big shout out to the Lahoris for their love, warmth n respect.....❤Bangalore, India.
Love, love, love your vlog and what you do to inform younger generations, my mother and father born in India, it makes me vicariously nostalgic on behalf of my deceased parents. My heart laments the cruelty of British in name of geo strategic politics, which continues still. I wish I could visit India. The lost opportunity, sense of loss of the people who suffered silently during partition brings tears to my eyes.
Bahut hi sohna vlog..👌🏼👌🏼
sari yadan samet ke naal lai jaange Ajit sarkar,, fer khore kado aana hovega rabb jaane
Ap k guests bohat he achay hain❤
This is awesome. I love your videos and your commentaries. Love from India.

Love and love only,,,zeeshan Saab 🙏❤️💐
MashaAllah ❤❤Nice vlog❤❤
Amazing
Eagerly waiting for this video - my ancestors too migrated to India from Kotli (Kasur) in Pakistan during partition
Welcome bhai , i am from kasur
My parents lived in Kotli before 1971. My dad was in Pakistan army.
This is heartbreaking, People should be able to go visit their motherland on both sides of the border, 79 years wait just for a visit??? This is insane
Zeeshan bhai ab hum kisse baal wala kahen ge any how zabardast vlog
Collateral damage and the emotional depletion wrought by the partition 😢
Golden memories never dies absolutely beautiful pictures zeshan sir love and respect from India 🇮🇳
Sir you are doing the best.
Specially in the case of Ajeet sarkar. You have been doing excellent services for the people suffered from partition.
I want to meet you Sir.
Really i am waitng ... bohat achi video bohat achy log..❤❤❤
In the beginning, my grandmother's nephews used to come here from India to meet her, then no one went there or came.
You are doing a yeoman' s service for the people of India and Pakistan. One these efforts will borders will become like those of USA and Canada. Kudos to your positive thoughts.

Shabab wabab ka to nhi pataa, par insaniyat ki khidmat karke jo ruh ko sukoon milta hai, woh anmol hai, be-misaal hai aur lafzo mein katai byaan nhi kiya jaa sakta. You are simply great. Please keep it up.
