Lovely property suited to a young family rather than for a retired couple IMO. The lights are so high up that you’ll need a tall ladder to reach the bulbs. I agree with the comments about the kitchen, poorly laid out and not much space to prep food.
A very nice home and property at a very reasonable price. A lot of very typical North American features in the house, but still very distinctively British. Lots of future potential in the property, but the British really need to start building basements. lol
A beautiful home, but I'm not keen on the open plan kitchen, lounge, dining set up. It reminds me of a studio apartment. The hob area is quite small, and the armchair there confuses the layout. Is it for cooking or lounging? Also, the location of the sink means potentially washing up right behind where someone is trying to relax. I love the exposed beams and brickwork.
I agree that this is an impressive place, and no doubt worth the price being asked. I've noted that many UK homes use large expanses of crushed stone, especially at the front, and I suppose it's easy care (but not my taste). The lot is large, and that undeveloped section would be great for a vegetable garden. The interior is well arranged and finished, but the layout of the kitchen would definitely not work for me! At the very least I would have to move the sink to the other side of the island and would need to create more counter space for appliances and food prep. I also would not be pleased with the artificial stone in the bathrooms. Too hard to clean! Aside from my personal complaints it's a lovely home.
Sorry but it's horrible. The kitchen was totally impractical and I hated the mixture of old and modern. It just doesn't work. The outside of the bungalow looked stunning and I was looking forward to a modern interior but I was so disappointed. The fake brick walls were the worst and what's with a modern shower and toilet but an old-fashioned rolled-top bath and old-fashioned Victorian sink? The hardware was a mixture too - some black wrought-iron handles, some gold plug sockets and different light switches. Yuk - I wouldn't live here at any price!

Think this is the nicest property you've ever shown, you'd have to walk across the kitchen with prepped items or to dish out food.

Aside from my personal complaints it's a lovely home.
I do so agree about the kitchen the layout is appalling, the design is extremely inconvenient!
Only seen this on a few homes it is not pretty common.
