The transition from Invoker crying for Selemene for the last time to Terrorblade saying “Seven souls for one, yours” is so satisfying. I can’t stop watching this masterpiece.
I was so happy when that Selemene got what she deserved in the end. Invoker asking do u love me to her after hurting her just like how she did to him was so satisfying.
He stripped her power from her knowing that she valued that above all else, even their daughter's life. I was sooooo satisfied when he echoed her own question to her.

I love how filomena has the most firm belief and most stable mindset in this anime based on her conversation with selemene considering some are blinded by their religion, a knight who is struck with excessive irony, a mage who is too much of a simp, and a princess cares too much about the very place she called home even though they abandoned her. and then there's marci which is the only one here who we can call a goddess.

I watched this man kill it as van kleiss in generator rex and pain from naruto so when I found out he was another calm collected op British sounding antagonist I was over the moon wish this show had more episodes it was hype
Can you imagine the fury that man must have felt! His daughter dying literally in his arms and her mother had the power to save her but was so focused on being a Goddess and being worshipped over just being a mother... no wonder he did what he did. For all his power he was helpless
I wish that the voice lines of invoker in the anime added in the game like "do you love me" or "doubt what you believe in, but don't doubt my love for her."
Man, I just thought that invoker was a bad guy from the start. After seeing this tragedy, now I finally understand why invoker learnt the dark arts to kill Selemene. What a great father !
hes a little more convluted than that i think. it seems like hes a good guy but he appears to have some secret agenda with terrorblade. something about giving him the souls of the eldwyrms, but for what? terrorblade's already killed selemene and the invoker got his revenge. and not only that, there have been a lot of 180s in the show, we'd be hard pressed to just guess

This video is absolutely stunningly well put together. 10/10 audio blending so you can hear the music clearly yet still the vocals from the scenes. Invoker's story in this part of the series is the most touching example of the lengths a father would go to for his little girl. You should seriously consider doing a video like this for Kirito and Asuna from SAO 🥰
Invoker shows us that there is no boundary when love is the topic. He even sign a contract to the demon just for love. Love is such a beautiful thing yet it brings out the darkside of ourself

It is the absolute inability of man kind to discern truth from falsehood which is the source of all conflict and error. Compassion arises from this understanding, that even though we are all accountable for what we do, we are simultaneously innocent. True love which has no equal or opposite is all inclusive and ever forgiving actually to the point where forgiveness no longer has meaning. We see a certain degree of this love in Invoker prior to the death of his daughter where he was willing to go to any length to save her. This is why we universally like Invoker. This love however, if it ever was directed towards Selemene, is absent. True love was also absent in his daughter, were it present, there also would've been compassion for the mother. She would have recognized her mother's innate innocence and mistaken belief that happiness would come from the condition of being worshiped. Perhaps recognizing her mother's desire to be worshipped would've lead to complying with Selemene's demands anyway because, well, We can all ask ourselves: "What are you willing to do for someone you love?" and the answer is always "almost anything" as opposed to what we are willing to do for someone we don't love, or hate. We wouldn't even give them our presence or attention. Verily the desire to "have a mother" as opposed to a god is equal to the desire of "Being a worshipped god". Both mother and daughter held on conditional love for each other and not the real deal, it is just that one had a position of power and the other didn't. Anyway, the half-ass conclusion to my rant of an essay is if the show had true love everywhere and everyone was jolly happy and everyone worked together then we would not have such a emotionally impactful show.
The Harry Potter books touch on this to, the department of mystery has a door that feels warm to the touch, that is the door where love is researched, even Dumbledore says it, "Love is a powerful force of magic, but it is also dangerous"

Invoker is great but it won't come to life without Troy Baker(same voice actor of Joel in TLOU and many more) so props to him honestly, he did a great job voice acting Invoker.
One of the cruelest satisfying revenge story ever. Gosh I wish I get an amnesia and watch it again n again. He proved his point in the whole show that how much he loved his daughter (she was such an innocent soul and deserved to live her life) and to what depths a father can go for his children. As an invoker player, i gotta say im proud i got him in lvl 27 and almost mastering it, but his lore is just beautiful and sad af, not even 1000years made him forget the pain inside and love he had for her daughter, i just wanna see selemene as a pickable hero in the game just to beat her ass myself 😢 still this vid is 10/10 beautiful edit, perfect song, best scenes.

It will then restore Mene's power, thus Selemene will lose the power she stole. Invoker may have known all along so he decided to leave Selemene. He gave in and hoped Selemene did truly love them both.

many people really is confusing the whole dire and radiant thing. in dota 2 Radiant and Dire are neither good nor evil. and many of the so called "dire heroes" has nothing to do with dire. same goes for radian heroes. in dragon`s blood. Terrorblade wanted to gain the 4 elemental and fundamental powers to defeat the Ancient (radiant and dire). which is chronologically speaking hasn`t fully manifested in the land of Dota. the first hint of the Ancient`s existence in dragons blood is that episode where mirana found a fragment of dire which transforms most humans into zombies (which in reality they are slowly turning into dire creeps).
@@patricksusulin9335 Actually they were a whole at once but fractured because of Elder Titan, that's why Arc Warden always talks about the imperfect state of the whole universe. As for the 4 fundamentals...even those are separated, Ezalor (Keeper of the Light) and Io or Santelmo ( Guardian Wisp) are good and fight for the Radiant while Nessaj ( Chaos Knight) and Darchrow ( Enigma) fight for the Dire. They are separated and the heroes as well. As for your info if you need, most of the new heroes are of the Radiant side. Monkey King (Sun Wukong), Dark Willow ( Mireska) even though shes known for stealing, she stole to help poor people, Pangolier ( Donte), Hoodwink and even Dawnbreaker (Valora)...only Mars and Grimstroke are to Dire. As for the Invoker (Carl) he never was good. He fights for the Dire. In the game he sees no one as an ally since he relies on his magic to annihilate anyone who opposes him. In Dragon's Blood the universe is a bit more altered. The best example is Davion and Mirana having no connection in the game. You sort of confuse the game with the series of Netflix.

I'm not exaggerating here, but you have created a masterpiece from start to finish, the end literally gave me shivers, of course that was only possible due to Billie's beautiful soundtrack and Valve's Awesome Anime, and You, so kudos to you man! Many more to come
Invoker may not have gotten exactly as he planned but he did it in the end, he saved his child, Filomena is alive and grown up too, can't wait for the next book if there'll be another one

It is the absolute inability of man kind to discern truth from falsehood which is the source of all conflict and error. Compassion arises from this understanding, that even though we are all accountable for what we do, we are simultaneously innocent.
True love which has no equal or opposite is all inclusive and ever forgiving actually to the point where forgiveness no longer has meaning. We see a certain degree of this love in Invoker prior to the death of his daughter where he was willing to go to any length to save her. This is why we universally like Invoker. This love however, if it ever was directed towards Selemene, is absent.
True love was also absent in his daughter, were it present, there also would've been compassion for the mother. She would have recognized her mother's innate innocence and mistaken belief that happiness would come from the condition of being worshiped. Perhaps recognizing her mother's desire to be worshipped would've lead to complying with Selemene's demands anyway because, well, We can all ask ourselves: "What are you willing to do for someone you love?" and the answer is always "almost anything" as opposed to what we are willing to do for someone we don't love, or hate. We wouldn't even give them our presence or attention.
Verily the desire to "have a mother" as opposed to a god is equal to the desire of "Being a worshipped god". Both mother and daughter held on conditional love for each other and not the real deal, it is just that one had a position of power and the other didn't.
Anyway, the half-ass conclusion to my rant of an essay is if the show had true love everywhere and everyone was jolly happy and everyone worked together then we would not have such a emotionally impactful show.
The Harry Potter books touch on this to, the department of mystery has a door that feels warm to the touch, that is the door where love is researched, even Dumbledore says it, "Love is a powerful force of magic, but it is also dangerous"

One of the cruelest satisfying revenge story ever. Gosh I wish I get an amnesia and watch it again n again. He proved his point in the whole show that how much he loved his daughter (she was such an innocent soul and deserved to live her life) and to what depths a father can go for his children. As an invoker player, i gotta say im proud i got him in lvl 27 and almost mastering it, but his lore is just beautiful and sad af, not even 1000years made him forget the pain inside and love he had for her daughter, i just wanna see selemene as a pickable hero in the game just to beat her ass myself 😢 still this vid is 10/10 beautiful edit, perfect song, best scenes.

Same thought :( I don't think she did it out of spite though because of how touchy the subject was to her a thousand years later. Maybe she planned it all along in a scheme to make Invoker and her daughter finally worship her (?) but it just didn't go as planned when Filomena refused to say the words
@@deku1438 My theory is that Filomena's soul is not whole because she is Mene's incarnation. Selemene giving love to her will give Filomena power. It will then restore Mene's power, thus Selemene will lose the power she stole. Invoker may have known all along so he decided to leave Selemene. He gave in and hoped Selemene did truly love them both.

many people really is confusing the whole dire and radiant thing. in dota 2 Radiant and Dire are neither good nor evil. and many of the so called "dire heroes" has nothing to do with dire. same goes for radian heroes. in dragon`s blood. Terrorblade wanted to gain the 4 elemental and fundamental powers to defeat the Ancient (radiant and dire). which is chronologically speaking hasn`t fully manifested in the land of Dota. the first hint of the Ancient`s existence in dragons blood is that episode where mirana found a fragment of dire which transforms most humans into zombies (which in reality they are slowly turning into dire creeps).

As for the 4 fundamentals...even those are separated, Ezalor (Keeper of the Light) and Io or Santelmo ( Guardian Wisp) are good and fight for the Radiant while Nessaj ( Chaos Knight) and Darchrow ( Enigma) fight for the Dire. They are separated and the heroes as well. As for your info if you need, most of the new heroes are of the Radiant side. Monkey King (Sun Wukong), Dark Willow ( Mireska) even though shes known for stealing, she stole to help poor people, Pangolier ( Donte), Hoodwink and even Dawnbreaker (Valora)...only Mars and Grimstroke are to Dire. As for the Invoker (Carl) he never was good. He fights for the Dire. In the game he sees no one as an ally since he relies on his magic to annihilate anyone who opposes him. In Dragon's Blood the universe is a bit more altered. The best example is Davion and Mirana having no connection in the game. You sort of confuse the game with the series of Netflix.
