The British commonwealth consists of over half the worlds population. - Розваги
As me singing it in 2023 I wish I was there then as the queen is sadly no longer with us. She passed 08.09.22. When I finished this as a solo this took tears to my eyes. ❤
I'm a solomon islander and i'm proud to be part of the common wealth. such an amazing song.
2012 was our year.
This really touched me. Especially rolf harris’ part.
Underrated comment 😂
Retaining your grace in life, is harder than imagined.
You do realise Rolf Harris is Australia's version of Jimmy Saville? As in a disgraced child predator??
@@clmm7418 I think he does...
@@Mike240060 Ha 🤣 very droll. Love it
What a memory 10 years on…. HRH Queen Elizabeth
Wow.. Am proud that I was part of this great performance in the African children's choir. With Garry Barlow. ❤❤🎉🎉🎉
I'm very proud to be part of the common wealth in my heart.
I love Gary Barlow so so much. He is forever singer . I hope and believe with trust that I will meet him in person someday. Long live Gary Barlow wherever you are ❤❤❤❤.
Reminds me of happier days. I was seven and life was good.
Wait until the British decided to abolish the Monarchy, they gonna look back to this performance and realised how much they wish that their monarch is still around. The monarchy is what makes G.Britain special. The tradition, the history, class you name it.
Won't happen, the Crown is to much of an integral part of our democracy that the two can't be separated without huge complications and consequences.
The lady with red hair singing fainted coming off stage, she was amazing!
I wish they would do something like this again, with such a touching song! I feel like no matter where you come from, this song will always be rememeberble!
I remember watching this on TV, it was fantastic, made me cry, well done Gary barlow, should be so proud of this song,it was the queen's favourite. ❤❤❤.
Should re release this sing in memory of our much loved queen to raise money for charity.
omg. I am American. Screw it. I'm saying it. I wish America was part of the Commonwealth now. THAT WAS AMAZING! I love the British and the Commonwealth so much. Between the Olympics, The Jubilee and the Royal Wedding, the UK sure has been a great beacon of hope for the world during these troubling times. Thank you.
Boi, if you call that troubling times wait till 2020. Hehehe Hope you are all ok.
we know how to party
@@avasanbas1966 yes we do
I'm American and glad WE ARE NOT!!
I completely respect and admire QEII for her service to her people and the Commonwealth but we fought a war to not be under a monarchy!!
@@SMichaelDeHart Lol, you live in West Virginia. Case closed.
I wish I was the one touched by Rolf Harris.
Chris Carter same
Joanna MEY I agree with what you say about pedo circles, but the monarchy is very important to British history and culture
Me too
Oh behave. ....
😂
God what a throwback, such a beautiful song, that live performance honestly made my cry.
God bless Her Majesty the Queen. There will never be another like you. Good night Ma’am.
God makes me cry every time I listen to this, so proud to be British. Fantastic piece of music to represent our queen. Xx
Jodie Umney My nationality is British but not ethnically British, I just hate how many racist people live in this country. Luckily, because I live in London I don't see as much racism, but in towns and countryside there's so much racist people.
Farewell Elizabeth II, you will never be forgotten
Hit’s different now🥲❤️
Thank you for your 70 years of devoted service to our country. May you rest in eternal peace. Long live the King!
long live queen Kate
you can just see from Andrew Lloyd Webber's and Gary Barlow's reactions on this how proud they are of the performers.
Wow Rolf Harris’ speech really “touched me…”
rolf touched a lot people.... Mainly the kids though 😬
Amazing to have the opportunity to just Sing for Queen and Country. We are blessed to be British, all of us, where ever we come from. God Save our diverse national family and our beloved Queen who has served us and helped made us what we are. Elizabeth the Great!
This song is magic. I love the blend of the choirs and bands in this tremendous performance. Every time I watch this it brings me to tears. Although I am not British (American) I am proud for the British and this special occasion.

What do you mean by that. I'm very confused
I am not british, I am brazilian, but I need to confess it was brilliant, I am speechless... Well done, Mr. Barlow! always writing perfect songs! Andrew LLoyd Webber was really good too! The choirs were amazing! :-)
1:52 To skip the monster who's name is Rolf Harris
thank you so much!
Sammie Murphy thanks
The woman who accused him of abuse had a willing relationship with him up to the age of 28 and only turned on him when she finally got the message that he wasn't going to leave his wife. Quit this misplaced sympathy for slags.
All he did was what many men have done. Lead a woman to believe that he would leave his wife for her. Let's not forget that the "child" he abused maintained a relationship with him until she was 28 and, finally, realised that he wasn't going to leave his wife for her. It was only then that she turned on him.
Thank you
I remember singing this in primary I was around year 2 , 3 or 4 ahah ! Great song and great memories I’m year 9 now :( x
Liv Vernazza exactly the same here

I declare before you all that my whole life, whether it be long or short, shall be devoted to your service and the service of our great imperial family to which we all belong."
How many leaders in other countries have said that? I'm so proud to be British and part of the great imperial family that includes Canada, South Africa, India and many more.
Rule Britannia !
Alicia Coburg GREATEST BRITAIN
Well said .. LONG LIVE HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH ...
India is not a part of this family anymore.
She was 21 at the time she said that and could not have dreamt that only four years later, her beloved father, who she always said and continues to say that she idolised, would be dead at only 56 and that she, at 25 with two little children, would have to rise to such a position that she would hold for her entire life. A great inspiration to everyone, whatever gender, age, religion or race.
This song is soo beautiful, can’t even finished in .. 💔😭😭😭
Besides, the Australian indigenous part is so beautiful ❤️🇬🇧
I'm not from the UK but this song is great and it brought tears to my eyes.

The Australian voice can heal the world from the mountain....my soul is still touched by his voice....
A wonderful piece of music and you have to love the passion of the fella at 4 mins 33
Gary's amazing! What a classical musical piece and everyone apart of it should be very proud what they've contributed.
May the God bless Gray Barlow and all the young girls and old women( Commonwealth)
Beautiful. At last, a number one song that is sung by people who can actually SING and aren't relying on backing singers or techinal wizardry to make out like they have a voice. (Chery Cole take note) A wonderful song for a wonderful occasion. I nearly cried when I watched this. Rock on G\ary Barlow, Gareth Malone and his Miltary Wives and all the Commonwealth singers involved.
Wonderful.
I love this! It's so beautiful! Im Finnish and I love Britain.
THERE IS SOMETHING REAL BEAUTIFUL ABOUT THIS BEAUTIFUL LOVELY SONG...THE HAPPIEST SONG...
I am 15 at the time of writing this. I look forward to listening to this in like 2090 or something and thinking... What an honour it was to have been alive to see Elizabeth II. Now, platinum in upon us! Here's to an incredible woman and an incredible union between the Commonwealth.
