As a Korean, we never use high quality bamboo salt for cooking, only for medicinal purposes. I recommend you trying a couple of flakes and let it dissolve completely in your mouth next time you have a sore throat or allergies. Thanks for the video!

    • @SaltyTales

Awesome! The idea was to test it up and see, but you are right, even though it does the job much more will be needed to get it to the right flavors. Thanks for the advise! 😀

@@SaltyTales It would be really interesting if you tried using “Doenjang” which is a Korean miso

My girlfriend was telling me about this salt a couple of months ago and I was sad because it's so expensive. But, I don't feel so bad now that I know it's not so good to cook with. I will stick with Badia black truffle salt. To me, it gives the absolute best flavor and I use it on everything! I bought a case of it because I love it so much! I also bought that much because my local grocery stores quit selling it and I have to order it online. Sorry for babbling. You guys are the best! Much love to both of you! I love that foodie-ism has gotten to the point where we’re actually thinking of Maldon salt as a control salt. There’s a poetry to it, given that, while Maldon is seen as sort of a fancy sea salt, the hard-working people of Essex who harvest it are kind of the definition of “salt of the earth”.
