'The words were so confusing' - students and teachers perplexed by tough NCEA maths exam

3 years later and I took my lvl 1 a few days ago. Not much has changed honestly for the tables, equations and graph it was a nightmare I didn’t understand and neither did my friends

NCEA maths is hard but if you look at the mark schedule it’s easy to get excellences compared to other subjects. I was sure a I failed when I did it but both were merit.
